This was such a well-done novella! I am convinced that Kelley Armstrong can do no wrong. This may have been a quick read, but it was a layered and compelling tale. I have enjoyed the two previous installments in this series so I was excited to be getting a new story featuring this group of characters. I had a really hard time putting this entertaining novella down once I started reading.
Mallory, who is living in Cat’s body, is worried about the young housemaid, Alice. She follows her one night only to find herself in the middle of something much more sinister and of course, Mallory feels compelled to put herself right in the middle of everything. The descriptions in this story were incredibly well done so I almost felt like I was there with this group of characters. There was plenty of excitement to go around and it was great to see Mallory, Alice, and Dr. Gray come out on top.
I would highly recommend this story to others. While this story could probably stand on its own, I would recommend reading the series in order if possible to understand the characters’ history. I had a wonderful time reading this story and cannot wait to read more of this talented author’s work.

I had a great time with this book! This is the second book in the Stealing Infinitely series which really needs to be read in order since this book builds on the information learned in the first book. Natasha is part of the Gray Wolf Academy run by a man named Arthur that sends people with a certain set of skills through time to acquire valuable objects. Arthur has Natasha working to acquire a special set of items that he is desperate to acquire.
Natasha is juggling more than just the demands of the academy. She isn’t sure that her boyfriend, Braxton is telling her everything. He seems to be involved in a lot of secret missions and she cannot help but wonder what is going on. She isn’t quite sure of her friend Killian either. Killian and Braxton have some history together and she isn’t exactly sure what really happened between them.
I thought that the premise of the story was incredibly interesting! I love seeing this group travel through time and I loved the setting of Renaissance Italy. Cameos by a historical figure only added to the fun. The story took a few twists that kept me guessing until the very end. It was a bit of an emotional whirlwind for a bit but I was satisfied with how things worked out in the end.
I would recommend this book to others. I think that this is a fun time-traveling story that kept me glued to the pages. The ending of the book has left me very excited to see what happens next!

I loved this book! Once I started reading this book, I found it impossible to put it down. I liked this installment even more than the first book in the series. The mystery kept me guessing until very close to the end. I think that the way that the time travel aspect of the story is handled is rather unique and incredibly well done. This story entertained me from beginning to end.
I like how Mallory handles the situation that she has found herself in and doesn’t try to change her environment to accommodate her. Mallory, Gray, and the other key characters are intelligent and easy to like. I wanted to see things go well for them as they worked to solve the case. Mallory’s knowledge of the future is the key to solving this crime and I love the fact that Gray trusts her knowledge, although it seems like she should be the one in charge if only that time in history would allow it.
I listened to the audiobook and thought that Kate Handford did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I found her voice to be incredibly pleasant and enjoyed the voices that she used for the various characters. I thought that she added just the right amount of excitement to her reading and I found myself wanting to listen to the book for hours at a time. I am certain that her narration added to my enjoyment of this wonderful story.
I would not hesitate to recommend this book to others. This is the second book in the A Rip in Time series which I would recommend reading in order. This well-written book was filled with fantastic characters, a mystery that kept me guessing, and a vivid setting. I cannot wait to read more of this entertaining series.

This was a very enjoyable read! I have enjoyed Kelley Armstrong’s books in the past and I am a fan of time travel stories so when I heard about this book, I knew that I had to get my hands on it. I thought that the time travel aspect of this story was well done and I quickly fell for the characters. I thought that this was a very solid start to a promising series.
During a visit to see her dying grandmother in Edinburgh, Mallory is thrown back in time when an attack goes wrong. She wakes up in an unfamiliar time and place and must figure out how to navigate this new reality in a body that is not her own. She has taken on the appearance and life of a housemaid named Catriona but soon becomes invaluable to her employer, Dr. Gray, who is a pioneer in the field of forensics. Before long, they are working together to solve a string of murders.
I really liked the characters in this book. I love the way the relationships between the characters grew and changed over the course of the story. Mallory had to learn how to fit into a world unlike her own and overcome the attitudes of those around her to do Catriona’s history. I liked the way that Dr. Gray and Mallory eventually teamed up with a local detective to try to find a murderer. Since Mallory worked as a detective in modern times, it could be frustrating for her to see the methods being used in police work in the past.
I would not hesitate to recommend this book to others. I had a fantastic time reading this book and thought that it did a wonderful job of setting up the series. I cannot wait to read about more of Mallory’s adventures in the past.

This was really good! Maria is a frazzled mom, pregnant with her third child, and working as a psychiatrist. She wakes up one day to find herself in her 17-year-old body and is desperate to get back to her husband and children. I thought that the story was quite original and I loved that it made me wonder what I would do if I found myself in Maria’s situation.
Maria was a great character. I quickly related to her as she was dealing with the struggles of having young children. I have always said that I wish that I had known what I know now in my teens but after reading this book, I am not so sure. I really did enjoy seeing her figure out exactly what she needed to do in the teen life that she was thrown into. I loved that there were a few surprises worked into the story along with some incredibly heartfelt moments. I thought that the epilogue was especially well done.
I listened to the audiobook and thought that Cassandra Campbell did a fantastic job with the narration. I have listened to her work in the past and feel like she is a very versatile narrator. I thought that she did a great job with the character voices and added just the right amount of emotion to her reading. I am certain that her narration added a lot to this story.
I would not hesitate to recommend this book to others. I found this to be a very enjoyable story with a really original premise. I look forward to reading more of Sarah Adalakha’s work in the future.
