As a librarian, I read heaps of books so I have lots of titles I can recommend to Readers. This often means I never get to finish a series. DNF at 54%
As a librarian, I read heaps of books so I have lots of titles I can recommend to Readers. This often means I never get to finish a series. My goal is to start finishing book series this year but I just can't continue with this YA series anymore. Why?

His lips and teeth and tongue ravaging mine like it's the end of the world and this is the last kiss any two people will ever share and I ravage him right back. Biting, licking, sucking, kissing...
and so on and so forth.
Plus it's 22 hours long. I'm just over half way through and hardly anything has happened. These books need a massive edit in which they are slashed in half.
Others have loved it so I'm happy it has an audience....more

Please do not be put off by my DNF. This had some incredibly interesting stories in the parts I read. Genuinely fascinating. However, these were dotted between lots of sciencey type words all in a row and my brain was hurting. So so many science words together and my fiction loving brain just threw it's hands up in the air and stormed off. I'm in my Zombie-a-thon so I need my brain to fend off flesh eating monsters. Who knows, maybe the molecules from Caesar's last breath are inside the zombies that are chasing the heroines from my first zombie book of the month! Eat tu Brute? See what I did there? ...more
