Brian Bryson

Field Hockey and youth sports are a personal passion of mine. As an elected Director for the West Vancouver Field Hockey club, I help set strategic direction for the club, focusing specifically on player recruitment and marketing strategy.

My objective in this role is to market the brand, foster local partnerships and encourage youth from 5 to 18, to become active in the sport and community, and take advantage of all of the benefits that youth recreational sports have to offer.

The JS Foundation’s mission is to drive broad adoption and ongoing development of key JavaScript solutions and related technologies. As a marketing board member, and representative of IBM, promoted the JS Foundation mission and objectives through various digital channels and live events.

Head Coach for Team Sweden, bronze tier 1 team.

My primary goal in coaching, both soccer and field hockey, is to promote awareness and underscore the importance of fitness to the players, both mental and physical.

I measure my success as a coach by team retention, and am very proud that I have retained a core of over 95% of my players from my first year to present day.
