Last night's MPI BC Chapter June Gala was such a wonderful celebration, marking the perfect start to the summer solstice! ☀️ We were incredibly fortunate with the weather as the sun made its way out just in time for the event. One of the highlights of the evening was the opportunity to reconnect with so many familiar faces from the industry. It's incredible how resilient we are as a community, and the fact that the June Gala was completely sold out is a testament to our strength and dedication. A special shoutout to Joyce Hardcastle for treating us to delicious Nanaimo bars and generously sharing the recipe. I love the idea of sharing recipes at events to take home a piece of the event experience. I'm already looking forward to attempting to replicate the bars at home. I am fortunate to work as a fully remote #eventplanner. Recently, I had the pleasure of organizing an incredible private event in Los Angeles, navigating the planning process from afar. So much gratitude to the talented professionals who collaborated to bring our clients' vision to life. Together, we transformed an already remarkable penthouse into an immersive Hollywood experience, complete with a red carpet and welcoming character hostesses from Elite Entertainment Global. Bites & Bashes surpassed all expectations with their extraordinary catering, while Good Clean Fun provided our signature cocktails, adding a touch of sophistication to the evening. An amazing performance by world-renowned cellist Eru Matsumoto, followed by DJ Colette & DJ Pete Moss, getting everyone on their feet and dancing. I used to work at Regnum Carya in Belek, #Turkey, and am hoping to get in touch with someone who still works there about a large group booking.
