What are TikTok Stories?
TikTok Stories allow you to share photos and videos for 24 hours. Your Stories are visible from your profile, inbox, and the For You and Following feeds. People can also send replies and reactions to your Stories.

How to post a TikTok Story
To post a Story:
Recording screen
1. In the TikTok app, tap the Add post + button at the bottom. From here, you can:
༚ Tap Story below the Record button.
༚ Select Photo, Text, or a video time limit.
2. Take a photo, record a video, add your text, or tap Upload to add a photo or video from your device.
༚ If you've recorded a video with a time limit, tap the Continue ✓ button.
༚ If you've entered text, tap Done or anywhere on the screen.
3. Manage your post settings. You can add a filter, sound, text, or stickers to your video or photo. For videos, you can also use advanced editing tools.
4. Tap Your Story to post.
Following, inbox and profile
1. In the TikTok app, tap your profile photo at the top of your Following feed, inbox, or profile.
2. Upload a photo or video from your device, or tap the Camera button to take a photo or record a video.
3. Add a filter, sound, text, stickers, or manage your Story settings.
4. Tap Your Story to post your story.

How to delete a TikTok Story
To delete your Story:
1. In the TikTok app, tap your profile photo at the top of your Following feed, inbox, or profile.
2. Swipe up on your Story.
3. Tap the Delete button and tap Delete again to confirm your choice.
You can also tap the Share button at the bottom of your Story, then tap Delete to delete your Story.
How to see who viewed your Story
You can see the total number of Story views you receive, as well as the accounts that watched it.
To see your Story views:
1. In the TikTok app, tap your profile photo at the top of your Following feed, inbox, or profile.
2. Go to the Story you want to see views for. You can see the total number of views for your Story at the bottom.
3. Swipe up to see who viewed your Story.
Manage who can reply to your Story
Viewers can reply to your Story with direct messages. To control who can reply to your Stories, you can manage your direct message settings.
