What is Comment Care Mode?
Comment Care Mode gives you more control over your experience on TikTok by applying additional filters to the comments posted on your content. Turning it on filters comments that are inappropriate, offensive, and have been flagged by yourself or others.
Comment Care Mode filters comments that:
• Are inappropriate, offensive, or contain profanity.
• Have been flagged or reported by multiple individuals.
• Are similar to comments you or others have previously reported, deleted, or disliked.
Note: This feature isn't currently available everywhere.
How to turn Comment Care Mode on or off
To turn Comment Care Mode on or off:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button, then select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Privacy.
4. Tap Comments.
5. Tap Comment Care Mode.
6. Turn the setting on or off, then tap Save.
How to review filtered comments
To review your filtered comments:
1. In the TikTok app, tap Profile at the bottom.
2. Tap the Menu ☰ button at the top, then select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Privacy.
4. Tap Comments.
5. Tap Review filtered comments.
6. Tap Approve or Delete below the comment you'd like to review.
