HMD is all set to launch its new set of smartphones this July, as hinted by leaks from tipster HMD_MEME’S (@smashx_60). Now the images and the specification of the rumoured upcoming device, tentatively named ‘HMD View’ has surfaced.
It is expected to feature a rigid FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, which is the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 695 SoC. The phone is said to pack 8GB of RAM, 50MP rear camera with OIS, and a 4,700mAh battery.
The image shows a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, even though the phone has an OLED screen, and it seems to have a metal frame since we can see the antenna bands on the sides.
The phone is said to come in Meteor Black, Ice (Grey), and Velvet (Maroon) colours. Several HMD phones got BIS certification recently, so we can expect the new HMD phones to launch in India as well, soon after the global launch.
According to the tipster, the HMD phones will launch in a fortnight from July 5th, so we can expect the launch on July 19th or sometime in that week.
