I would love to see Gretsch's market research because--as somebody who's currently in a deep dive on Gretsch guitars (thank Who's Next/Life House box set)--I am totally impressed by Gretsch's current offerings (particularly their budget Electromatic line). That said, I NEVER would've articulated the brand's value proposition as it's described in this piece.
Interesting dilemma here: honouring the past but trying to stay current while catering to an audience of notoriously change-resistent guitarists. Looks like Gretsch is striking that balance.
Hello, I have applied for the Business Development Manager South East Position. This appears to be an amazing company that really takes pride in their employees! I live in the Knoxville Tn. My 1957 Gretsch 6120. It breaks my heart to see classic pieces of Americana offshored, from Levis to Rawlings to Gretsch.
I love Gretsch drum kits!
