Good build quality, has held up fairly well, but has sharp corners, and the clip doesn’t hold more than a couple papers since it’s not deep enough. Want to clip a folder, forget it. The double compartment is nice to keep papers sorted, but nothing larger than standard 8.5x11” sheets. The pen section doesn’t quite keep pens, as they can shift through the gap in the middle into the main compartment. Overall a fair quality basic clip board for the price

Using this for doing notes and quotes for a handyman business, and this clipboard works well -- large enough to hold paper, business cards, a small tape measure, flashlight, pencils, etc.

Because I am using it as a "mini toolbox" with all these items, I used some adhesive-backed velcro to keep everything from sliding around (which is loud in the hollow aluminum box).

As other reviewers mentioned, the corners are sharp, so I am careful when placing it on customers' tables (to avoid scratches).

The clip at the top of the clipboard is strong, and holds papers even in wind. A small improvement would be to have the clip be "deeper"... it only holds the top 3'8" (approx) of the pages. I would prefer if I could insert the first 3/4" under the clip, for more security.

Even with the minor complaint, it does what I need it to! :)

So my plastic clipboard and document holder (truckers call it a tin) broke after 2 years of service. Basicly the wind picked up the flap and the thin plastic swivel for it broke. So naturally I have to look for a new one. Went to office depot and they wanted 75 dollars for a clipboard tin. That was way too expensive for me to spend money on something like that. So Amazon to the rescue. It took a week for it to ship from BC but when I got it, it worked just fine. I like how there is two compartments on the inside. Which is 1 more than my old one. It can be a bit heavy and there is a ticking sound that can be annoying when your driving down the road. But after a week of using this thing I'm very happy that I paid 25 bucks for this thing. So if your a trucker feel free to pick this thing up. I've read a few reviews saying that it's a busted piece of crap but if your receive this thing damaged contact Amazon for a refund or exchange.
