Purchased as Xbox is in a WiFi dead zone in the bedroom. After around 5 minuite setup which included having to download an app I Plugged it in at the top of my stairs and working perfectly.No more connection dropping out or just pure failure to get a signal.Download Speeds are similar to what I get in the lounge next to router so no issues there.Signal strength of 82% where as before it usually refused to connect at all is a win.Highly recommend this product. Worth the money especially with the dual band.

After using this item for over a year now in a room that just cannot get WI-FI no matter how close, this product has made powerful, long-distance WI-FI seamless. There are two options after setting-up, 2 and 5GH, both very capable of reaching a good distance with 5GH performing excellently for both gaming and streaming (depending on the quality of your router).

The set-up process does take a little while but the overall quality afterwards is worth the time and has held up since I bought it a year back.

For my purposes, this has been an excellent purchase. For months I've been having issues with respect to my Ring Video Doorbell singal strength as my WiFi signal only just reaches the downstairs hallway and isn't strong enough to maintain a reliable connection outside.

In that respect the AC750 notably improved my Ring doorbell's connectivity. The signal became more stable, resulting in clearer and smoother video feeds and for this specific purpose, the router proved effective and brought tangible value to my security setup.

It was also easy and intuitive to set up and configure through the TP Tether app. I was up and running in a few moments and I think most anyone could set this up if they're comfortable enough using a smart phone.

However, it's important to note its limitations. The router's range is somewhat restricted, struggling to provide a strong signal in larger areas of my home. This might affect its ability to extend coverage significantly beyond a certain point and with that in mind I feel it would be suited to a smaller home. Additionally, while it's a budget-friendly option, its speed may not match higher-priced alternatives. So users should set their expectations accordingly, especially if they have demanding online activities.

The inclusion of an ethernet port though at this price point is a great addition and this would make a great option for adding a pseudo wired connection to a bedroom or office for a PC or device with no or limited wireless capability.

The biggest problem I have with the product and this extends to all TPs products from light bulbs to routers is the requirement of a TP account for all their products. This isn't an issue for me personally but it does raise some concerns with respect to privacy and the longevity of the product should TP online services be shut down in the future and is worth considering before you make a purchase.
