In my quest to extend the reach of my 1gbps broadband throughout my home, I opted for the TP-Link AC750 Universal Dual Band Range Extender. While the setup process was straightforward and quick, the device fell short of delivering the full 1gbps signal strength to every corner of my house.
The range extender struggles to consistently operate in 5g mode, which was disappointing given its dual-band capabilities. However, when it does work, the signal extension is reliable within its limitations.
Despite not meeting the expectations for full 1gbps coverage, the TP-Link AC750 remains a decent option for extending Wi-Fi in areas with less demanding speed requirements. It strikes a balance between ease of setup and reliable signal extension, making it suitable for households with moderate connectivity needs.
