Read a lot of reviews and wanted to get a pair of headphones with ANC and can dual connect to laptop and phone . These fit the bill. What’s also great they have an aop to customise and company for now is sending software updates . So your complaints are listed to and buds updated. Which is great as this make buds even better in future . Saw a review saying iPhone connection was an issue . But looks like they fixed in this update . ANC is a little weak but taking a flight next week so will check on there if it drowns out plane noise . Sound profile is also decent . Thought it would be base heavey but is fine. Call quality is also decent . I do feel bad for the company some of the review pre update might make the buds sound not great but if they continue to take feedback and improve there on to a winner
Thank you for your feedback

Fantastic value for money! I had a pair of Samsung Buds Pro 2 and they pale in comparison. These buds have much better equaliser control and much much richer BASS, which is wholly customizable. In comparison my Samsung Buds had way way too much 'hiss' in the treble department, which hurt my ears and had to be turned right down. These buds have great sound and were EXACTLY what I was looking for!

Firstly these ear buds have excellent sound quality so I can't fault that, but they do have flaws. Firstly the tips don't seem to fit no matter which I use so they fall out all the time, this could be rectified with separate tips bought but then they don't fit in the charge case. Secondly and the most annoying for me, each individual bud only does either volume up or volume down, you can't do both with one earphone so at night when I listen to audible with only one earphone in I can't turn it up without picking my phone up or putting the other ear bud in which is very annoying and defeats the hands free ability of the earphones. And lastly, the touch controls are not great, and too sensitive to accidental touches. Wouldn't buy again for sure.

I've only used either wired monitors or cheap bluetooth pods during the hunt for a good bluetooth monitor adapter. Well packaged, connects seamlessly and enjoying the extra features I'm not used to from cheaper headphones. The pairing is almost instantaneous on both android and ios, good ear recognition for pausing / playing when out and about, the app is useful and fast, and nice touch to be able to customise the touch gestures. Feels much more expensive than it was. Will be keeping an eye to see how these last, as most cheaper headphones don't last particularly long, but for now an easy 5*.

So, these are budget earbuds. Ok, please bear in mind when reading the rest of this review.

The feature set is good. nice app, equalizer (more on that later), (some) ANC, customisable controls, nice industrial design.

They auto detect when removed from ears. Good, but take a second or two to react.

Sound quality is interesting. certainly ok for budget earbuds.

Dirac Opteo sounds good. This is the default.

For pop music, they sound ok. In a slightly synthetic way.

For guitar based rock, folk, etc they are less good. Bass can overpower. I find myself fiddling in the EQ app more than I feel that I should...almost on a song by song basis.

For dub, EDM or something where bass is important, adding Ultra bass on level 5 is ..er.. quite interesting. Plenty of bass.

They don't distort at volume which is a positive.

ANC works (ish). Setting between Noise Cancellation and Off gives some audible reduction.

Control customisation is quite good - but no single tap control (just double and triple). I have changed the defaults on mine.

Overall these are cheap earbuds with decent sound quality, but enhanced by a good App and really nice industrial design. Oh and the funky orange colour is interesting.

4 stars... but I am quite picky.

EDIT: Dropped to 2 Stars because the Nothing X App does not work reliably with IOS. I cannot pair my iPHONE to these buds and so cannot use the equaliser etc. This was reported in a You Tube review so I think is a wider problem than just my experience. Tried reseting, rebooting etc. Life is too short for flakey experiences. Not for Apple users IMHO.

They're remarkably well built for something so cheap, with a classy look and decent materials. The case feels good and sufficiently robust. The sound quality is excellent and I've had no connection issues with my Pixel 6A.

In terms of fitment they're OK - less secure than my Pixel Buds A series but not falling out. They need a smaller tip size to be included.

The noise cancelling is reasonable - not market leading but good enough to quieten down the Tube so I can listen to a podcast!

But the whole product is let down by one thing: they are not Google Assistant compatibile. You can configure them to open the voice assistant, but that just opens it on the phone, not the audio version through the buds themselves. This is not how Google assistant approved devices work - you get a tone in your ear and can issue commands. This version is rubbish as it just means your phone is woken up and listening from your pocket. Making calls or skipping a set amount of time through your podcast thus requires taking your phone out when it needn't.

I emailed their support who apparently ignored what I wrote and told me again how to configure a voice assistant to one of the buttons. I have already done this and said so in my email. It's so frustrating when companies use support agents who don't properly read complaints.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellents écouteurs et rapport qualité prix
Reviewed in France on 5 June 2024
Colour Name: Dark GreyVerified Purchase

5.0 out of 5 stars Suono ottimo e design minimalista
