I've been a professional dog walker for over 6 years, so I have picked up thousands upon thousands of poops! These bags are the best! They are quite durable, so if you have to pick up a stick or some rocks with that poop, it won't pierce the bag. The seams are sturdy (some other bags rip apart), and they seal in the smell quite well. The perforation works like it is supposed to (some bags can be hard to separate) so you can rip it one handed, and the top of the bag opens easily so you can pick up the poop without taking your hand out of your winter gloves. They are also a good size, easily fitting a Doberman poop or several beagle poops. They are also such a good price that you don't feel bad passing them out at the park.
The only downside is that they are not biodegradable, but I'm not sure that matters so much if you're sending it to the landfill anyway.
If your new to the poop bag game, don't bother with scented bags, the vanilla or lavender scent just mixes with the smell of crap, and may ruin the smell of things like scented candles or lotion FOREVER. Trust me.
The holder that comes with these is also great quality. The threads are well made, so the bottom doesn't fly off leaving a ribbon of plastic bags in your wake..
I have also used these for some less conventional purposes: to fill with water for a thirsty dog, a raincoat for a chihuahua in a surprise storm, waterproof socks inside my boots, a waterproof seat cover for my bike, and collecting wildflower seeds while out with the dogs. Basically: Best. Bags. Ever.
