I had an iBolt windshield Mount that was really good but after 10 years, the suction cup tore. This Mount is obviously discontinued and has to find a replacement.
In the past, I already purchased Ugreen products and decided to give this one a try.

Let's just say that I'm not disappointed at all!
The suction cup is really strong (even stronger that my old iBolt). Well... I don't really know if the suction cup is really "suctionning" that much because the surface of the cup is reallllly sticky so it stays put very well just like that. I guess the suction action locks it down securely.

It is kind of hard to remove because the surface is so sticky! But it won't leave much residue. You can notice a circle where it was installed, but just wipe down and it's gone.

The spring-mounted grip is really strong and holds very well a Samsung Galaxy S8+ in an Otterbox Defender case (the very large case of this brand!).

I have a Grand Caravan and the arm is long enough so the phone is within reach! And every tightening screws are tight and strong enough so nothing budges out of position. But beware: if tightened too much, don't try to change the angles without loosening it a bit first because you might break something!

Great product and it arrived earlier than expected. Installed it in my work truck and the suction cup is really good, holds it in place and doesn't move. After about a week where the clamp is held onto the arm it broke. I checked the sellers site to see if I could exchange it but he has non left so I am gonna see if I can fabricate something to fix it. I really like the product cause the clamp is strong and holds my phone in place better than I thought it would. I will say that my work truck is very rough driving so I think that is whybthe plastic piece broke. I would definitly buy another one if I needed one for my personal vechicle.

This is a suction cup with super strong adhesive on a jelly rim, really hard to get off the window or dash if you want to relocate it. Almost permanant. Basically doesnt really need suction cup, unless that's the only way to attach it during winter months and really hot summer, i could see that. If you're looking for a regular super strong suction cup, this isn't it.

Also if you're intending to use it for video filming, the extention arm is loose and shakey even when tightened good.

Most recent update: This holder lasted for 3 years for me! I'm not a careful user of it either. I'm fairly rough with it, so if you are careful, it probably will last double the length of time.

Update: I have had this for 5 months, and it works extremely well! Strong solid arm on it! I replaced my old, super soft phone case (Otter Box) to a normal one and the mount works amazingly now. Even with my very large phone, I don't need to be careful to position my phone in the mount anymore because it fits in perfectly. I am extremely happy with this purchase! I would buy again. If you plan on moving this mount a lot, it may have problems because it has a super sticky pad on the back that adheres to a mirror.

My old review soon after purchasing:

Great product! Very solid! My phone is just shy of 8 cm wide without the case, and 8.75 cm with my Otter Box soft phone case. Getting my large phone into this phone holder with my phone cover on was difficult at first. Most recent update: This holder lasted for 3 years for me! I'm not a careful user of it either. I'm fairly rough with it, so if you are careful, it probably will last double the length of time.

Update: I have had this for 5 months, and it works extremely well! Strong solid arm on it! I replaced my old, super soft phone case (Otter Box) to a normal one and the mount works amazingly now. Even with my very large phone, I don't need to be careful to position my phone in the mount anymore because it fits in perfectly. I am extremely happy with this purchase! I would buy again. If you plan on moving this mount a lot, it may have problems because it has a super sticky pad on the back that adheres to a mirror.

Great product! Very solid! My phone is just shy of 8 cm wide without the case, and 8.75 cm with my Otter Box soft phone case. Getting my large phone into this phone holder with my phone cover on was difficult at first.
