I wanted to test multiple ones since I got sick of using that aux cord one. So long and annoying if I had someone else trying to listen to music (have iphone and they had android). So i bought it for my Jeep 2014 model that does not have the screen or Bluetooth. It works perfectly and sounds just as it did with the cable before! Love the option to pause or answer calls, lower or increase the volume. Easy to connect too.

Sound quality is good, and it pairs quickly and easily. Battery life seems good too. I've done about 9 hours and it was still going.

However don't buy it if you need a microphone. I've tried it in several different locations and scenarios and no one could ever hear me clearly.

I have an older 2005 Z4 with no Bluetooth, but wanted it to be able to stream my phone iTunes to my Soundsystem. Initially installed a 3.5 mm jack adaptor to the back of my factory receiver and just plugged A 3.5 mm to lightning cord into my phone but this cord was always getting hooked up on things so I thought I would try this. Plugged it into the 3.5 mm jack plugged the adaptor for the power into my lighter socket, the unit started to pair automatically checked my iPhone. It appeared on the list of options to select impaired instantly. I did not have to read any instructions, of the 50 or so various items I had to screw around with trying to pair, this is quite possibly the easiest one I’ve ever encountered. Not sure if everyone will have the same luck, but it was certainly a piece of cake for me. The sound streaming my iTunes from my phone is excellent and I am running a 10 speaker system with subs in my car. absolutely love this item and at the end of the day it was only a couple of bucks more than the initial 3.5 MM to lightning adaptor cable I purchased.

When you connect to one device, other devices cannot find it to connect. And you have to turn Bluetooth off on all phones that have previously connected to this so the that a new phone can find it and connect to it. The support website says a terrible as there is basically no support.

For what it's worth and what it does this is a decent adapter. Unfortunately because it is separate from the vehicle, when you turn off your vehicle the adapter does not recognize this and continues to stay connected to your phone, causing whatever music or podcast you were listening to to continue playing unless you manually pause it on your device. Phone calls are very quiet and there is always a lag, sometimes it is understandable but other times it can be up to 3 seconds and makes phone calls very difficult if not impossible with others. I would invest in something a little bit more modern or high tech if you need better phone capabilities in your Bluetooth adapter. I have also found that 8 out of 10 times if I start my car and then come back to my vehicle a few minutes later with my phone, the Bluetooth will not pick up the adapter and I have to manually pair them. It should automatically pick up the adapter when I'm within range regardless of how long my car has already been running.

I use this bluetooth receiver in my car that is not bluetooth equipped. It stays connected to my phone and has excellent sound quality. The battery lasts a long time, and it can be used while charging if need be. The only real downside to this unit is the microphone; it's just not great. The closer you are to the microphone, the better it works. I would have expected a better microphone considering it is a hands-free system.
