This thing is simply brilliant. I’ve been using Bluetooth FM transmitters for over a decade, and they’ve always been terrible for any number of reasons. I can’t believe in all that time, no one has made one of these. Audio isn’t overly compressed, there’s no audible hum, and the start up voice isn’t loud and unbearable. It’s simple, effective, and the price is perfection. I just wish it existed years ago to save myself the headache.

I have mine stored in my center console and have zero issues connecting, and maintaining connection while in my car. Instructions are simple and easy to follow (plenty of visual aid).
Cable length is not too short and is coiled so if you need a bit more length, you can have it.

Sleek design and USB has a nice shield wrapped around it.

Connects right away when I turn on my car. Excellent product.
My only dislike s how thin the wire is. Feels frail and might not last as long as I hope.
Most of these Bluetooth AUX cables are too thin and don't last more that a few months. TH=he slightest kink and the sound gets interrupted. This device has yet to do that, however, I feel like it's inevitable with this thin cable.

Recently switched a phone and RIP 3.5mm jacks, so I was debating between a USB-C to Aux cord or a Bluetooth solution for my 2000s car without a Bluetooth head unit. Ended up going with this U-green receiver and I'm so happy I did.

I bought it on sale so it was barely more expensive compared to an aux cord (13 vs 18 bucks), and it made life much much easier for the extra cost. After pairing it automatically connects to my phone every time I start my car, no more trying to plug my phone on a busy commute, so I find myself using my podcasting apps way more than the radio when driving to and from work. The sound quality this thing produces is also surprisingly good, much better than those Bluetooth to FM receivers. Much less interference as well!

Highly recommended, my car is finally stepping into the 2020s with this small upgrade. U-green is a great brand and I'm really happy I went with their product this time!

Easy to set up, inexpensive. Works well. Mic quality poor. It's better to use your phones mic. I tested it by receiving calls on my iphone from our landline. It paused the music I was playing and received the call. When I left a message on the answering machine with the Ugreen mic it sounded garbled. When I did the same thing using the hands free iphone mic it sounded clear. All in all the overall experience is good when you consider I did not have to replace the whole radio setup. It does not work unless you use the Aux setting on your sound system. No problem for me as I like to listen to podcasts and have You Tube Music on my phone. If you are listening to regular radio you have to switch over to Aux before answering the phone if you want to use the cars sound system.

Got this as a present for my brother for his 2013 Mini Cooper Clubman (Mini, BMW and Audi have an aux cable port and a usb power port making this setup perfect for them). As soon as he unlocks the door, the car sends 5.1v to the UGreen and it immediately connects to his phone. Music is already playing by the time he has the car started. This also somehow has a noticeable volume boost compared to auxiliary with no noticeable increase in noise or drop in quality. Not sure if this is from UGreen's own DAC being superior to the one Apple give you (lightning to 3.5mm that always break) or just from bluetooth 5.3's own improvements. The bluetooth in my computer is also bluetooth 5.3 and made by UGreen and the audio quality is also fantastic.

He's never had to configure anything himself which is great because he isn't a phone or computer pro. I would def buy this again for someone who wants to keep their factory radio or who finds modern radios confusing or daunting such as a very young or very old drivers. I would also recommend this for android users who have older versions of bluetooth in their car, and the old standard for Android bluetooth is very low quality. With a 5.3 receiver, you at least know you're getting the most out of your bluetooth music source.

I just got the unit and tried it. Very dainty. Small guage wire. Smaller than most auxiliary cords. However, it works fine in my 2007 ram. Paired up good the second time. Automatically reconnects when turned on. No background noise. Most importantly, it doesn't muffle (decrease) the sound volume. Many adapters you plug in are frustrating because they just dampen the sound volume level, but not this. I have other auxiliary adapters like FM TX and use C to auxiliary, but I get background noise or dampened volume levels which is why I decided to give this a try.
Used S23fe. I can select between SBC and AAC.
As for the mic ... I don't use it or tried it. I have it set for audio only. My 2007 Ram has Bluetooth for the phone and I don't use that either.
I'm using a power plug that's QC but other charging tech works to power this.

Again, very fine flexible wire so I recommend pulling the plugs by the plug and not the wire.

Update (10/30/2023): Samsung to the rescue!
So I recently discovered that my Galaxy S20 has a routines feature where you can program the phone to automatically do certain tasks when certain conditions are met. So in this case I was able to use that to automatically play music on Spotify when my phone connects to this bluetooth device. So that basically solved the biggest gripe I had with this product. Even though it was my phone that fixed the issue and not the manufacturer of the device, I am still going to update this review to 5 stars because now I basically have no issues with it. Anyways, feel free to read the original review below.

I love this thing! So much better than the previous two bluetooth adapters that I had in my car. I used to have a battery powered aux adapter and a cigarette lighter port powered FM radio adapter. The battery powered one sounded good but was so inconvenient because the battery would constantly die on me during car rides. I could keep it plugged in but then I'd have a cable dangling down from it which was annoying. Also because it had a battery, it was bigger and bulkier than it needed to be, which cluttered up my dashboard for no good reason. The FM adapter was a bit more convenient (no wires!) but it sounded terrible. The sound was tinny and full of static. Almost unusable because of that. And because my car's cigarette lighter is always powered on, even when the car is off, I had to unplug it and plug it back in every-time I used it or else risk killing my car battery. Not a big deal, but annoying enough that it caused me to rarely used it.

This one solves basically every problem that my previous two adapters had. For one, it's powered by USB, so I don't have to worry about any batteries dying. Plus, I can power it by plugging it in to my car stereo's USB port which does power on and off with the car, so I don't have worry about plugging in and unplugging every time I get in and out of the car. Also, it has the form factor of basically just a cable, so it take up almost zero room on my dash. Super sleek and discrete!

On top of that it connects to the stereo with an aux connection so it sounds fantastic and doesn't have any of that FM radio static. I even noticed that I don't have to crank up the volume on the stereo like I had to with my previous aux adapter. I guess since it was battery powered, it needed to cut back on the output to save battery life.

There's one problem with this thing though, something that I feel is big enough to warrant taking off one star. The thing is that this doesn't have any buttons on it. No play, pause, fast forward, rewind, or anything like that. Understandable since it's so small and sleek that there wouldn't be any space on it for that. That's fine. They would have had to make it bigger to fit buttons on it, so I think that was a good call to not include buttons. BUT... one thing that would have made living without buttons so much easier is if it had auto play. It would have allowed me to hop in my car, the adapter would power on with my stereo that's powered on with the engine, the adapter would automatically connect, and the music would play on it's own without any user input. I wouldn't even have to think about it, it would just work.

It does have auto-connect which is great, but no auto-play. Meaning I have to pull my phone out of my pocket, open the Spotify app, and hit play. Not a huge deal, but it's the one thing that stops this from being a truly hassle free experience where I don't have to fiddle around with anything to get music from my phone to my car stereo. If they changed that, this would easily be a five star product for me!

Ya qué cuento con un FireTV Stick lo conecte al receptor, todo perfecto, yo esperaba que hubiera algún retraso del audio con el video ya qué la transmisión por bluetooth tiende a crearlo pero la sorpresa fue qué tanto el audio como el video están sincronizados. No se si esto se trate del receptor qué cuenta con un retraso de audio prácticamente imperceptible o el FireTV Stick se adapto a los tiempos del receptor.

Otra ventaja es la conexión dual.
Ya qué lo conecte al FireTV Stick note que siempre se mantenía conectado al receptor incluso en modo reposo, sin embargo esto no es problema ya que puedo conectar otro dispositivo sin necesidad de estar metiéndome a la configuración del FireTV para desvincularlo del receptor.

Ich habe hiermit meinen FM-Transmitter ersetzt um eine bessere Qualität über Bluetooth zu erzielen - was diesem kleinen Helfer wunderbar gelingt.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super, man benötigt einen USB-Anschluss für die Stromzufuhr (in den meisten Fällen wird man also einen Adapter für den Zigarettenanzünder brauchen, neuere Autos brauchen normal ja keinen Bluetooth-Adapter) und dann geht es auch schon los. Die Verbindung ist absolut stabil, die Musikwiedergabe klingt gut, auch Audio-Nachrichten lassen sich gut verstehen - lediglich beim aufnehmen von Sprachnachrichten ist der Adapter offenbar zu weit weg um vernünftige Qualität zu liefern.
