I was looking at a more expensive unit from bestbuy (triple the price, on sale!), but figured I would roll the dice on this one. Installation was super easy, everything you need is included (aside from tools). It's semi-sturdy, but I had to offset my TV on the mount so that it doesn't hit the wall so the metal is flexing, causing the TV to be un-level. Now, luckily there are adjustments for that, but it takes some finesse. If I was able to mount the TV centered on the bracket, I don't think I would have any issues. Buy it.

Mounted my 85 inch tv to my brick wall and it not going anywhere. I believe it says it can hold 165lbs but I was able to put most of my weight on it. 250lbs+.

Comes with 4 lag bolts, but for my application I added 1 more because one for them went through the grout lines.

I think this is one of the more important items to write a review on. When I purchased it I was relying heavily on reviews here on Amazon. I was replacing a terrible one that a relatively heavy 75" Samsung flatscreen smart TV was hanging on when we bought the house. I was nervous because the 2 actually looked similar to each other. Wish I could say what the old one was to warn people to NEVER buy one of those! Anyway, this one is 4 1/2 stars. Easy to install and most importantly, holds the horizontal and vertical position!!! The old one was slowly driving me crazy 😧🤣 as I kept having to grab the tv after it had been extended out for the elliptical machine and re- straighten it by brute force. TV always had fingerprints around the edges!

Be careful with the tightening of the 4 vertical adjustment screws, though. I stripped one and ended up having to cut it off (it was so badly stripped I couldn't remove the nut) and replace it with another bolt. I don't understand why they don't make these things with bigger bolts. (You probably have to spend $500 or more on a really good mount but more than I wanted to pay.) Also when you install this be aware that there will be a bit of sag. My TV is within a cabinet box so it was pretty critical. I ended up putting shims underneath the bottom bolts of the mounting plate and it corrected it. I didn't really want to have to plug the holes I had drilled and drill new ones. With my 75" TV it was a 1/4" - 3/8" sag.

We bought one from Walmart a few years ago, it didn’t swivel so decided to buy this one, I’m glad we did because the bracket was twisting and damaging our wall.
