I have purchased one other wall mount for my out tv but it didn’t pull out. So connecting cables and cable boxes was a real challenge. With the pullout it’s way easier to make changes to the cables or cable boxes. It works well if you need to adjust for different viewing angles. BUT make sure to attach to WALL STUDS. DONT USE WALL ANCHORS. The mount and tv are way to heavy for plastic wall anchors. Also it shows a couple of Velcro ties. I didn’t get any so I used zip ties to attach the cables and tv power supply to the mount.

Once up ... it is really strong and sturdy and it’s range of motion is awesome !!

The downside is that it is not that easy to install. Please read and re- read the instructions and plan your stud spacing BEFORE you start drilling. I have 24 inch studding and had some issues finding my centre’s due to interference with my stud finder. I stuck with it and only drilled three errand holes that were mostly covered by the frame anyway.

It is also a two person job - don’t think about doing this all by yourself. Be patient, read the instructions and plan. You will be happy with the results and for the price , you can’t beat it anywhere.. with all the range of motion. this a $200 plus unit in a retail store .

I have a 65 inch newer TCL TV on 24 inch stud centres

the first full motion mount I've installed for a large tv. I was concerned that it couldn't carry the weight. Just installed for a 65" tv by myself. So far it works well. Smooth and easy motion and no concern that it can't handle the tv.
Product was well packaged. All parts were there. Solid and well built. All heavy gauge metal parts with black powder coating. Instructions seemed confusing at first. Read them a couple of times before starting and had no problems.
Came with only 2 different length screws to attach to tv, really short and really long. Made a trip to home depot to get correct length for my tv. They provided a little wrench for some assembly. Don't even try. Use a socket wrench. Remember all the bolts are metric.
Tilt adjustment is locked down by 2 screws who's heads faced the wall. A bit difficult to manipulate. Need a short screw driver to get clearance from wall.
Once the mount was up, hanging the tv was easy. Ability to pull the mount away from the wall helped a lot. The security lock on this kit was simple to engage. On most kits this is usually difficult to work with.
I pulled all cabling through the wall. since the mount is secured between 2 studs, you've got that space to work with. The wall mount has 2 cut-outs about 4.5" X 6". I used one of these spaces for access to wall behind the tv and installed a cover plate for a clean finish. Worked out well. Make sure there's no electrical or plumbing behind there!
Overall, of the 6 or 7 installs I've done, this was the simplest. I knocked install down 1 star since I had to get proper length screws. As with any project involving heavy items, make sure you plan it out carefully before starting and take your time. Mount all 4 bolts into studs!

I used this mount for a 65” LG 4k tv. Shipping was quick and the box came damage free. Everything that should have been in the box was in the box and the instructions were easy to follow and surprisingly thorough (they even gave the size of drill bit to use when drilling into the studs. Very nice) Pro’s: easy install (for a tv mount). I had one other person help me with the install and it was very quick, about 30-45 minutes beginning to end. There is an amazing amount of adjustability. Height, tilt, side to side and forward and back are all available. The plate that rests in the wall is the perfect distance to be placed over a plug. This made it easier to hide the power and coax cables along the swing arm. The motion is smooth and easy to adjust. It has a very sturdy feel. Cons: the way the mounting brackets sit along the back of the tv make it possible that you could cover up ports for your tv. This was almost the case for my tv but because there is a lot of adjustment available when mounting i was able to get just enough clearance to use the final hdmi port on the back. So not an issue for me but I can see how it may impact certain tvs. Second very minor thing. They sent a 3 foot hdmi cable with the mount. This is only helpful if you have your box mounted right behind or below the tv. I had to use 10ft cables because of the height and taking the cables down the wall to the entertainment center. So this 3ft cable was not usable for me. Again minor issue and one that does not affect the rating. I still gave them 5 stars for a very well made product

Very Nice Wall Mount with Great Flexibility with Adjustments

This mount was purchased to mount a 65" LED display. This display weighs 58.2 lbs. One thing that's curious to me, maybe someone or the manufacturer could address, is why the rating for this mount is "up to 70"" displays and 132 lbs. There are LED displays that are 75" yet still weigh only 60 lbs or so. It seems it should have the capacity to hold a 75" since the weight is well below the maximum weight capacity of 132lbs.

Onto the review of the product. It comes tightly/efficiently packaged with part wrapped or covered to prevent scratching. The most important features to me is the flexibility of the mount regarding the mounting brackets/holes and moving the display when mounted on the wall. There was a situation where the mounting holes on a display much smaller than the 65" mentioned below were spaced significantly further apart and would not work with this particular mount. That being critical and considerable research of options, this Perlesmith mount has a lot of flexibility options with not only mounting to the display itself but securing to the wall as well.

There are separate extensions that are attached if needed for display mounting holes up to 600mm. There are additional mounting screws and washers to accommodate most display to bracket mounting needs. The mounting brackets attach easily once determined hardware needed to accommodate a particular display.

Mounting to the wall was a breeze once determining where studs are located. If this is a DIY project always "measure twice and cut once." This wall mount comes with a small bubble level. It was tossed aside in favor of a 2' level. if you don't have a level then it's a convenient item included in the kit. To locate studs, it's a little pricey but this is the stud finder used to ensure accuracy: "ProSensor 710 Franklin Sensors ProSensor 710 Precision Stud Finder Yellow" (the Amazon link was EXTREMELY long so included only name of finder!). For more accuracy use this in conjunction with magnet stud finders. The Prosenser was extremely accurate in my experience.

The mount may have been just a hair off after all the measuring with regard to leveling. There are plenty of options built into the mount that allow for adjusting the level pre or post mounting the display. In addition, there is a tilt feature that allows for significant tilt for your smaller viewers who may choose to lie on the floor. One other flexible option is distance it will extend from the wall. This is preferred when switching, adding cables for equipment without potentially taking the display off the wall to do so for less flexible wall mounts.

The wall mount does come with an HDMI cable. It does not appear to be a hi-speed cable so it did not deliver the quality needed for the attached equipment. The display is 4k and gave errors upon use. Luckily an extra hi-speed was laying around to get things up and running. Just note you may need a better HDMI cable depending upon the type of equipment combination owned.

This is the second time installing a wall mount. A little more research went into this one since it was a larger display and learning there can be significant differences in mounting holes on displays. I'm extremely pleased with this mount. The price is nice for the features. I will restate again, it would be nice to know if this mount, based on the weight of displays, could accommodate larger than 70". A 50"-90" option is available but at a 50% increase in price. At this time it wasn't cost effective or necessary to get the larger mount. As displays get larger and lighter it seems this would be sufficient for greater than 70" displays. I'll remain compliant within the listed specs.

Tighten EVERYTHING with your best guess before setting the TV on the wall bracket.

Is it a quality product? Yes. Would I buy it again? Definitely. Is it an easy install? NO.

Mounting a heavy bracket like this was difficult for US buildings (16 inches on center.) You have to add ears on ONE side only, so you think it'll be off center. Well, somehow that worked out ok, and was very close to center. Don't ask me how, but it worked out.

I mounted over a fireplace, so we lifted it a 70 pound TV over our heads. The part you finally hook the TV onto, well that slips and slides everywhere. Save yourself - Tighten the four Tilt nuts and the two Twist screws down well before you try mounting the TV. It was tipping wildly, sliding down the cross bars, and falling downward at us, all at the same time! (AFTER it got on the bracket!)

Once it was tight, it worked well. Scissor alignment isn't the greatest, so push/pull slowly to keep it all level.

Overall, given the amount of effort to hang it, when we sell the house, the TV and bracket will stay.

The one thing I'd ask for? A paper template to tape to the wall for hole alignment!
The bracket is very heavy when trying to center and level with one hand and mark your holes with the other. I finally cheated and drew the 2x4's on the wall, and did extensive math to calculate where the upper and lower holes should hit the 2x4s. The math to do all of this OUGHT to have been in the directions, but nope, it wasn't. I also have a sound bar underneath, and had to calculate that in. Luckily, I am good at math.

I installed this wall mount for my 55" Samsung TV, and it is very well matched to that size. The mount allows lots of range so that i can aim it toward my couch for seated watching, or I can swivel it over to where I have a free space to use my Wii fit. The mount is solidly lag screwed to two different studs, and therefore spreads the weight across more than just one stud. The mount is installed easily on the wall, and an adapter is mounted on the back of the TV, and then the TV just hangs on the mount easily, no need to hold it up while you try to attach screws or anything. After the TV is installed there is provision for securing the two parts together so the TV can't just fall or shake off.
