This Amazon basics filter arrived in a plain cardboard box, with an unmarked plastic case inside that should fit a variety of filter sizes. Fits the front of my lens easily and securely and allows the lens cap to fit normally as well. No noticeable effect on optics, just an added layer of protection for the front of the lens (and you don't mind giving it a good scrub if it gets dusty).
