my tailbone hates thin yoga mats and this is so soft and feels high quality!! though because it is basically a squishy foam material, you have to be careful if you have fresh acrylic nails because you might nick the material.

I've had this for 3 months now and I still smell the nasty rubber-like, factory smell. I've sweat on it, wiped it with wet wipes, sprayed air freshener on it and the smell just won't go away. The strength of the mat is good, doesn't rip easily. It is pretty thick and the cushion is good which means that it won't hurt your knees or your back or when you lay on it. However, I'm giving it a 3-star rating because of the lingering smell. If you can get by the smell, then it is a pretty decent exercise mat that get's the job done.
