I needed a temp HF ham antenna after a move and this worked like a charm. Split the 16 gauge wire & built a 125 ft dipole supported by a pole in the middle. This has now been up through 3 years of Northern Alberta climate and is still working great. Routinely run 1.5 kw through it with no ill effects. It has stretched a bit as expected, but has survived snow... ice & wind beautifully. Turns out, copper clad aluminum is a great material for antennas. Also available in 14 gauge for heavier use. Just ordered 2 more rolls for an HF loop project. Feed it with ladderline straight to the shack... Also perfect for a portable or emergency antenna. Very easy to work with ! Works Great & great value.
