Congratulations to the pride of Indonesia, our very own racer Sean Gelael, and the WRT #31 Team for their remarkable win at the thrilling FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC): 6 Hours of Imola (ITA)! 🏆🏆🏆 The second round of the FIA WEC, held at Imola, Italy, delivered outstanding results for BMW M Motorsport and Team WRT. The event culminated in a fantastic one-two finish for the BMW M4 GT3 in the LMGT3 class. The trio of #31 Augusto Farfus (BRA), Sean Gelael (INA), and Darren Leung (GBR) secured victory ahead of their teammates #46 Maxime Martin (BEL), Valentino Rossi (ITA), and Ahmad Al Harthy (OMA). This triumph marked a historic moment as it was the first-ever win for a BMW M Motorsport car in the history of the FIA WEC🎉🎉🎉. Additionally, BMW M Team WRT celebrated success in the Hypercar category. After a challenging start in Qatar, Robin Frijns (NED), René Rast (GER), and Sheldon van der Linde (RSA) displayed exceptional performance, engaging in a fierce battle for the podium throughout the race.
