I have been using and recommending Fairphone products since 2016. A relative wanted a new phone, and since my experience with the Fairphone 5 has been great so far, I could not get them anything else. Still my go-to phone company after all these years.

So wonderful to find a phone with replaceable battery!
I could probably have done with a bit more of a steer towards getting a case and screen protector (my daughter says that as I use the phone for field work I really should get the extra protection)

It was easy to navigate on the website! The purshase-order was easy to move back and forth through and you had a lot of different payment options :) There was also a lot of information about your products and when you finally decided on what to purshase, it was easy to view and ad accessories.

Fairphone delivers what they promise. I participated Fairphones very first Kikstarter Campaign and I am following the company now for a decade: The never made empty promises, but overfullfilled. When they promised 5 years of support, they delivered seven.
It's a honest company.

Its a long journey since I got my fairphone 2 and now I have the 5 version. I don't have much faith on how the world humanity is going, but I still have the impulse to do things I feel right to do, like to eat vegan and bet for the companies like Fairphone. Thank you for existing.

Easy to effect repair, once a retailer with a Phillips 00 screwdriver was located.
The choice of delivery (and associated cost) was the reason for the 4 stars.

This is the second Fairphone 4 that we as a family have purchased which says a great deal.
Great straightforward purchasing experience, no hassle and arrived on schedule by UPS. Very good build quality and easy to setup. Easy to get at the battery and the SIM and memory card slot. With a 5 year warranty (on registration) and major components that you can replace quite quickly it is a robust piece of kit. So overall projected annual cost of ownership is actually much lower than other phones in the same price bracket. We will be buying another one soon .....

Still waiting for most recent order. The previous one had insufficient support. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. Have paid for a month and a half of contract and several apps which I have been unable to use (including online banking).
Do better, Fairphone.
Get some real humans on the phone lines and chat support. The service has deteriorated greatly since I last used it.

So far no complaints about the product. However, I find the purchasing process somewhat intransparent. Admittedly, there is no mention of free shipping, but neither is there any clear indication of the shipping cost.
Most bothersome I found the complete lack of choice for the logistics provider and, frankly, annoying surcharge for home delivery. I understand very well the reasoning for disincentivising individual deliveries. My wish would be to have the freedom of choice - with transparent information on shipping times - to be able to choose a carrier that has a drop off point near me. In my case I rather paid the surcharge rather than face the inconvenience of having to travel around 35 minutes one way to the next drop off point.
Finally, I find the pricing of spare parts and accessories somewhat strange. "Essential" accessories, e.g. screen protector and case, are prices quite steeply while screen replacements are relatively cheap. I suppose every business has to make money somewhere.
Overall happy with the product, less happy with the way of getting it

I have bought the Fairphone 5 recently and I really think it is a nice telephone that does anything I need. Especially, it feels good to use a phone that I will be able to replace piece-wise if need be, and to help make phones more sustainable.

The parts that I needed (including a replacement screen for my Fairphone 4) were all in stock, dispatched & delivered quickly. Just an aside: replacing the screen was quick & easy - took me less time that it would have taken me to walk the mile to the nearest mobile phone repair shop.
