Elon Musk Unexpectedly Drops Case Against OpenAI

Elon Musk has unexpectedly asked a California court to withdraw his lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman. The case accused them of abandoning OpenAI's original mission to develop AI for the benefit of humanity. Musk's lawyers did not provide a reason for dropping the months-old case, which came just a day before the court was to hear OpenAI's motion to dismiss.

The dismissal request was "without prejudice," allowing Musk to potentially reactivate the case later. He initially filed the lawsuit in February, arguing that OpenAI had shifted its focus from altruism to profit. OpenAI countered that Musk had previously supported a for-profit structure and suggested merging with Tesla.

Tensions escalated this week after Apple announced a partnership with OpenAI, which Musk criticized on social media. Despite Musk's objections, Apple's stock reached a record high.

🚀 Big Vertical AI Investment Opportunity – Only 4 Days Left 🌐

  • Elon Musk secures $6 billion for xAI
  • Nvidia surpasses Apple's $3 trillion market cap
  • SoftBank targets $9 billion annually in vertical AI investments

These milestones underscore the market power of AI. Just as Apple integrates ChatGPT into its devices with Apple Intelligence to redefine efficiency, Jurny is making noise in the hospitality industry with its vertically integrated, AI-powered ecosystem. This is just the beginning. Each leap in efficiency reshapes the market landscape.

The top players are moving fast—and so is Jurny. The speed and rate of AI improvement are vastly underestimated. Jurny has announced it will bring even more industry-changing advancements to hospitality within the next three months.

Jurny's AI can already automate up to 90% of Airbnb hosts' daily management tasks, reducing the average host's time commitment per unit from 12.5 hours to 1.25 hours per week. This efficiency could generate annual savings of over $38.7 billion for Airbnb hosts alone. This dramatic boost in efficiency opens up property management to more individuals and drives growth, benefiting platforms like Airbnb.

While big tech focuses on the mass market, Jurny is dominating the hospitality vertical, a $4.7 trillion market. Vertical solutions are where the money will be.

Don't miss out—Jurny's investment opportunity closes on June 18.

Virtual Rat with AI Brain Mimics Real Rodent Movement

Google DeepMind

Researchers have created a "virtual rodent" by using an artificial neural network to control a biomechanically realistic rat model in a physics simulator. They trained this virtual rat with deep reinforcement learning to behave like real, freely-moving rats.

The neural activity in the virtual rodent's brain areas, such as the sensorimotor striatum and motor cortex, closely matched the neural activity observed in real rats, better than predictions based solely on movements. This suggests that the virtual rodent's network more accurately reflects motor control and neural dynamics.

The network also showed variability consistent with the "minimal intervention principle" of optimal feedback control. These results demonstrate the potential of realistic virtual models to improve our understanding of the neural activity underlying behavior and the principles of motor control.

AI-Powered Insights and Analysis by Datarails

FP&A Genius from Datarails is revolutionizing the impact of the CFO’s Office. This AI assistant offers instant answers to detailed questions about revenues, KPIs, and metrics, as well as daily AI-generated insights (like “Your marketing spend for the month is 20% of total revenue which is less than the YTD average”).
