Summary Description

Central Christian College is seeking A Recruiting Specialist. Reporting directly to the Director of Enrollment, the specialist focuses on graduate and online (remote) recruitment. The College prefers this position to be located on campus but will work with the right candidate regarding remote options.

This is a staff position, serving as a non-exempt, 12-month employee. The pay is based on credentials and experience. Recruiting Specialist

Status: Full time (12 months), hourly, non-exempt

Reports to: Director of Enrollment

Department: Admissions

Location: On-Campus (Remote Consideration Possible)

Job Summary

The Recruiting Specialist is a member of the admissions team with a primary focus on graduate and online (remote) recruitment. This includes facilitating internal and external partnerships and B2B relationships, with the primary focus on maintaining and surpassing enrollment targets. In addition, this position serves as a bridge, leveraging lead generation strategies in order to maximize movement through the admissions funnel.

Education, Experience, And Skills

  • Testimony validating a saving faith in Jesus Christ and a growing awareness of His Lordship
  • Affirm alignment with the vision and mission of the College, its heritage, beliefs, values, and lifestyle expectations
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
  • At least one year of experience in higher education or sales
  • Experience in providing thorough and complete attention to detail, following multi-stepped processes, and maintaining accurate records
  • Comfortable with intentional relationship building, acting as an advocate and guide, including those from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Ability to work/travel, including evenings and weekends (
  • Exceptional communication skills on and through any number of mediums (e.g. phone, texting, interviews, social media, one-on one, group, etc.)

  • Essential Duties

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive online recruitment strategy to attract qualified students
    • Manage the online recruitment funnel from lead generation to enrollment
    • Oversee the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system, including data analysis, customization, and optimization for improved lead conversion
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective online marketing campaigns
    • Attends organizes and execute various recruitment events such as workshops, seminars, career fairs, open houses, information sessions, activities and, relational marketing
    • Conduct outreach to potential students through various online channels
    • Develop, implement, and track a community outreach program with the goal of increasing online program enrollment
    • Identify and cultivate partnerships with businesses and organizations aligned with Central Christian College of Kansas' mission and program offerings
    • Represent the College at industry events and conferences
    • Exercise discretion on which recruits to drop from consideration and those to recommend for admission
    • Meet weekly/monthly/yearly recruiting and contact goals
    • Meet inquiry and conversion ratio goals established by the College
    • Participate in events, meetings, registration events, and graduation
    • Provide timely feedback (through systematic and periodic reports) to stakeholders regarding market needs, and challenges faced when selling College programs
    • Provide timely feedback (through systematic and periodic reports) to the Enrollment Director and Marketing Office related to strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities encountered related to selling College related programs
    • Maintain regular (weekly) contact with top prospects
    • Counsel students regarding basic financial aid and college financing opportunities
    • Serve as a counselor and interpreter of the College’s policies to individuals seeking admission
