About The Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Photo Producer Temporary to join our Advertising Production team for approximately 6 months. Primary responsibilities include partnering with other Producers to manage production of internal Editorial photography and external production partners. Key accountabilities include the planning and scheduling of production projects and then delivering high quality editorial assets across all brands. The ideal candidate will be ready to build upon established strong relationships with the rest of Advertising Production, Creative, Brand, Marketing Systems, Ecommerce, and Merchandise teams, and support the needs of an internal team of Producers, Stylists and various on-call staff. Travel may be required over the course of the assignment depending on project (estimated at 2 -3 business weeks).

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

Production Planning and Execution

  • Works closely with other Manager Adv Production - Editorial and other Producers and leadership to execute against Editorial production strategy
  • Partners with Manager Adv Production - Editorial to manage expenses against the Production budget in alignment with changing needs
  • Collects input to ensure efficient planning and estimates, schedules resources, submits purchase orders, tracks or routes projects in WorkFront, drafts call sheets, talent contracts, etc.
  • In-person management of on-set crew, talent and shotlist to ensure a smooth and quality production and on-set experience
  • Manages relationship between internal Creative AD Pod and external partners including production and creative resources (photographers, prop stylists, DP’s, etc.) from pre-prodution through post-production
  • Prioritizes based on capacity, deadlines and competing priorities and co-manages a calendar of all studio or editorial work with Editorial and Studio production team
  • Is an excellent communicator with the ability to align cross-functional teams and external vendors against business goals and timelines

Operations

  • Problem-solves quickly and effortlessly for a variety of requests and timelines
  • Manages day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of production challenges
  • Manages WorkFront jobs and ensures all data is captured and closed out at end of project

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of production and post-production for brands, with art buying, vendor management, and budget responsibility
  • B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experience
  • Highly organized and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
  • Proven track record of success while working on a production team or photo studio team and extensive knowledge of creative process, photography and retouching process
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact & articulate support of creative goals and further creative vision, ability to negotiate contracts, create vendor compliance and coordinate multi-vendor activity
  • Works well under pressure and thrives in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Individual should have intellectual curiosity, be self-motivated and seek opportunities for personal growth
  • Retail industry experience in men’s apparel/fashion or related field
  • Proficiency with DAM systems, Filemaker Pro, Capture One and other related image capture and management tools preferred
  • Familiarity with California labor codes associated with production
  • Hands on experience working in a Mac environment preferred

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from Dublin California with some travel required.

The starting salary for this position is $116,000 - $119,000 and may increase to $125,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
