We are partnering with our long-term retail client to recruit a Part-Time Creative Project Manager to join their Visual Merchandising function for a 5+ month contract role, hybrid in Seattle, WA. While visual merchandising experience is not required to be successful in this role, it's a huge plus to have experience with similar projects. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the operational functions for creative and visual merchandising projects, including managing traffic for the department, processing invoices, supporting graphics requests from store locations and maintaining timelines and communication with store contacts. We're looking for a minimum of 2+ years in a creative project management role with excellent communication and timeline tracking skills. You'll jump to the top of our candidate pool if you have experience in visual merchandising or the retail industry. Any design experience is a huge plus, as you can provide huge value by occasionally stepping in to make small edits in Adobe Creative Suite. Uniquely, this team is flexible, part-time contract role estimated to be 20-30 hours/week. Don't let other projects or commitments dissuade you from applying if you're available for 20+ hours during typical work hours, and are local to Seattle and comfortable commuting in to the office about 1-2 times per week to handle requests with physical product and connect with the team.


This contract is covering a leave, and we're looking to hire someone available for the full 5 month commitment. Compensation ranges from $33 to $40 an hour, with potential for some flexibility depending on relevant experience. We'd love to hear from you if you think you're a match!


You will:

  • Manage incoming requests from store locations for creative materials and assets, managing the production and timeline of requests, and ensuring a high level of communication and on-time delivery
  • Spearhead campaigns and kick offs with corporate and store staff, managing timelines, budgets, asset creation resources, vendors, etc.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to stay ahead of any challenges, shifts, etc.
  • Work with logistics teams to ensure assets are properly dispatched from corporate, as needed


Your experience should include:

  • 2+ years (minimum) of experience in a creative project management role with in-depth experience with stakeholder and vendor communication, budget and timeline management
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills and experience working with both internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Experience with project management software


Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in a visual merchandising role or exposure to the function (highly preferred)
  • Graphic design experience and Adobe Creative proficiency
  • Experience in the retail industry
