What a buzz during our 30min Ideation Hackathon by SolutionHack this Wednesday! We brought together a diverse group of people from business, tech, design and academia to tackle two challenges: 1. Our challenge from Jennifer von Walderdorff, founder of Look at the Labels: How might we retrieve used, unwanted clothes from customers in an eco-friendly way? 👚 2. Our challenge from Sebastian Castro, founder of Larval: How might we improve food security in the European Union and reduce dependence on imports? 🍎 The task: in only 30 Minutes, define a clear target group you aim to support and discuss a specific problem they face within these challenges. Next: find a way to solve it. And we weren‘t short on innovative ideas. 10 teams pitched, enacted and told stories about the outcomes of their joint ideation. A big congratulations at this point to the winner: Team Green Top, aiming to solve the challenge of food security through creating roof top gardens for local produce. I wanted to try something new, so I joined the fast-paced ideation hackathon organized by SolutionHack yesterday. Safe to say it won't be the last time! 🚀 Several teams combining tech and business backgrounds had 30 minutes to brainstorm about a given topic and pitch their idea—a real race against time! ⏳ Mita Wong., Richard Fankhänel, Mohammad Sadia and I worked on "how to retrieve unwanted or ripped clothes in the most sustainable way." I may have very limited knowledge of the fashion industry, but when it comes to getting a group to work together, my instincts kick in! The cherry on top? The session was held in the Berlin office of Le Wagon! Super experience to discover it as I am currently following their online data analytics bootcamp.
