What an honor to attend the Social Innovation Summit with key partners and colleagues in Chicago! We got to hear from exciting leaders (including Al Roker, Colton Underwood and many others). Breakout sessions have always been a crowd favorite at Social Innovation Summit events, and #SIS24 was no different. Thanks to organizations like General Motors, Sanofi, Best Buy, the Walton Family Foundation, and more for sharing such engaging impact insights.

Last week, I was honored to represent the Redstone Family Foundation by speaking on a panel at the Social Innovation Summit alongside two brilliant leaders-- Lara Littlefield, Executive Director for Partnerships and Programs at the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, and Katherine F. Pickus, Vice President - Sustainability and Global Impact at Tyson Foods, who moderated the conversation. Together, we discussed the power of private philanthropy and how our respective organizations drive meaningful change. I was particularly proud to highlight our partnerships with the Boston YMCA's Building Togetherness Program and American Jewish Committee (AJC) Atlanta's Black & Jewish Teen Initiative - two amazing programs that are fostering unity and building cross-cultural understanding and relationships for young people from preschool to high school. Events such as the Social Innovation Summit remind me how lucky I am to work in the philanthropic space. Was thrilled to take #CoffeewithKen on the road for a timely conversation with State of Illinois Governor, JB Pritzker, during the Social Innovation Summit. The Governor shared his efforts to win and attract businesses to the State and the large investments in Quantum Computing, Bio-Manufacturing, Film and other sectors. We also heard more about the upcoming Democratic National Committee Convention and what we need to do improve our politics and protect our Democracy. Video will be live on our website on Thursday! We were honored to welcome Dr. Chelsea Clinton to the #SIS24 stage this afternoon. Dr. Clinton shared insights into her work with The Clinton Foundation and the work she's most excited about this year. “The one thing I want to be explicit about is that I want everyone to vote. I hope companies give time off to vote. We have early voting in New York City, in some places there are mail-in ballots. But in some places you still have to show up on Election Day. I would truly hope — agnostic of political party or affiliation — that you exercise your right to vote in state and local elections, as well as federal.”
