The leading electrification nonprofit. We give you the data and tools to help you #ElectrifyEverything ⚡
About us
Rewiring America is a growing nonprofit focused on electrifying our homes, businesses, and communities. Our world-class team develops accessible, actionable data and tools. We’re the conduit for Americans to achieve energy efficiency, tackle nationwide emission goals, improve health, save money and build the next generation of the clean energy workforce. We believe in an abundant, flourishing, climate-safe future, and know that, together, we can realize one. Founded in the summer of 2020, Rewiring America’s purpose is to make electrification simple, measurable, and inevitable. Every single opportunity to replace a car, water heater, furnace, dryer, cooktop, and even lawn equipment that runs on fossil fuels is an opportunity for electrification. We are committed to using the best data and analysis to build market-transforming partnerships and tell the stories of transformation and success that people will relate to, gravitate to, and want to join. We are outcomes-oriented, focused on achieving national emissions goals, improving our health, lowering monthly bills and creating millions of clean energy jobs. We know this is the decade that matters, and that our collective success winds through and depends on all of us.

“As an apartment dweller and user of a subpar stove in my rental, having an induction cooktop in my home kitchen gives me more range in cooking. I use induction to maintain consistently simmering pots of beans that don’t scald the bottoms of my pots. I can slow-braise lamb shoulders on induction at specific temperatures, which can be difficult to achieve with a gas stove. I’ve placed an induction burner in the middle of my dining table for a hot-pot party. I’ve brought one with me to cook outdoors and to Airbnbs with inadequate cooking setups.” A portable induction burner is an easy, convenient, and affordable way to elevate your cooking. tired: fighting to keep the flames under control while cooking burgers on a gas grill wired: plugging in your indoor, panini-style grill (which may or may not be named after a retired professional boxer) to cook those burgers easy-peasy rewired: firing up the electric grill to give your burgers that BBQ sear and smoky flavor — no flames required ⚡️
