    🔍 THE *REAL* STATE OF B2B ECOMMERCE 🔍 After introducing our maturity model earlier this year, the Logik.io team decided we needed to uncover the real story of B2B eCommerce. We asked: What are B2B eCommerce experience *really* like? Some of the answers we found may surprise you...   Today we released our new research report, The Real State of B2B eCommerce, which details findings from assessing 527 public-facing B2B eCommerce websites. We discovered some startling issues as well as exciting opportunities across product discoverability, configuration, pricing, quoting, transacting, and overall B2B buyer experience. Key findings include: ➡ 6 in 10 B2B eCommerce websites are delivering a generally negative experience to buyers. ➡ Only 3% of B2B websites offer buyers a guided experience for product discoverability. ➡ More than 80% of B2B websites provide no product configuration options for buyers.     😮 7 OUT OF 10 B2B WEBSITES ARE MISSING THIS... When we assessed 527 B2B websites in the spring, we had no idea just how many companies were missing key elements of a customer-centric and revenue-boosting eCommerce experience. And we were astonished to learn that 7 out of 10 B2B websites provide no recommendations for complementary offerings, variations, add-ons, or cross-sells when buyers are exploring products. What this tells us is that too many B2B companies are missing an opportunity to more fully meet buyers' needs AND are leaving revenue on the (digital) table.
