We're delighted to share a bit of history with you in observance: On March 30, 1933, in Winder, Georgia, the Barrow County Alliance hosted the very first observance of Doctors' Day. This initiative was the brainchild of Eudora Brown Almond, wife of Dr. Charles B. Almond to assign a special day to honor the dedication and tireless efforts of physicians everywhere. This day reminds us of the profound impact doctors have had on our lives and the importance of expressing our gratitude for their invaluable contributions.
