This felt like reading a smut version of Freddy vs Jason, except Ghostface was also there, and they were all friends, and VERY friendly with the heroine, lil Quinn, who literally got her fill of her wildest darkest fantasies. The smut was good I think, for slasher smut. Ghost was the king and lil Quinn was the queen; and Jason and Michael the bishops, I suppose. RH Checkmate?
My limited experience with erotica has never been very memorable so far, and this little novella was sadly no exception; but I guess it’s good for what it is, which is very smutty dark erotica. Meh, I’ve seen better porn though.

Esto se sintió como leer una versión cachonda de Freddy vs Jason, excepto que Ghostface también estaba ahí, y eran todos amigos, y MUY amigables con la heroína, la pequeña Quinn, que literalmente satisfizo totalmente sus más locas y oscuras fantasías. El smut estuvo bien creo, para ser smut sanguinario. Ghost fue el rey y la pequeña Quinn fue la reina, y Jason y Michael los alfiles, supongo. ¿Jaque mate grupal?
Mi limitada experiencia con el género erótico hasta ahora nunca fue muy memorable, y esta novela corta lamentablemente no fue la excepción; pero supongo que es bueno para ser lo que es, que es erotismo oscuro muy obsceno. Aunque meh, he visto mejor porno.

1. As a methodical reader, I’m always looking for the best books, but curious enough to explore the worst as well. Now I don’t know if I’m scratching the bottom of the filthiest pool over here, but c’mon it’s Dinosaur Erotica! Has to be close right?
2. Reading trash like this automatically upscales your standards. In comparison, all other 1 star books look pretty damn good, it’s tragically uplifting. Forget comments like “This/That/X book is bad”; no, after this it’s: “Well, yeah it was bad, but at least it’s not Dinosaur Erotica!”, and anyone would have to agree.
The plot? Pleasure to ruin it for you. Drin, cavewoman, returns to her village only to find everyone dead. Goes hunting to kill bad evil Dino. They end up having a one-night stand. The End. Is it that bad? YES. Is it so bad that is good? NO. Is it funny? Only if you have bad taste. Should I read it for reasons listed above? At your own risk; I sacrificed myself so you don’t have to.

2. Leer basura como esta automáticamente potencia tus estándares. En comparación, todos los otros 1 estrella parecen bastante buenos, es trágicamente elevador. Olvidate de comentarios como “Este/Aquel/X libro es malo”; no, después de esto es: “Bueno, sí es malo ¡pero al menos no es Erotismo Dinosaurio!”, y cualquiera tendría que estar de acuerdo.
¿La trama? Feliz de arruinártela. Drin, cavernícola, regresa a su aldea sólo para encontrar a todos muertos. Sale de cacería para matar a malvado malito Dinosaurio. Terminan teniendo una noche de pasión. Fin.
¿Es realmente tan malo? SI. ¿Es tan malo que es bueno? NO. ¿Es gracioso? Sólo si tenés mal gusto. ¿Debería leerlo por las razones listadas arriba? A tu propio riesgo; yo me sacrifiqué para que no tuvieras que hacerlo.

I’m not ashamed to admit I was basically looking for porn and this novella was short enough and with sufficient number of ratings to maybe make my gamble worthwhile. It was not. This short erotica had enough clenching to compete with a small industrial vise and enough wet dripping to trouble an amateur roofer. Sadly, I could never lose my disbelief enough to buy that prideful overconfident queen bee would resign her dignity and reputation so easily and to such extremes just because she was feeling curious, and impossibly horny. The basis of the plot felt forced from the go and that made everything else seem artificial at the least, or utterly unrealistic at worse; even for dark erotica. The characters and smut were ok I suppose, but nothing that will truly stay, except maybe the clowns. I don’t want to even...
This is my second foray into the genre and way out of my comfort zone, so please don’t take anything I say too seriously. Many people enjoyed it so I guess it’s good, for what it is. There are some heavy TW in the blurb that should be properly addressed before jumping into this one though, and that is something that really should be taken very seriously.

No lo fue. Esta erótica corta aprieta lo suficiente como para competir con una pequeña prensa industrial y contiene suficiente goteo húmedo para preocupar a un techista amateur. Lamentablemente nunca pude perder suficiente incredulidad para tragarme que la orgullosa y sobre confiada abeja reina quisiera resignar toda su dignidad y reputación tan fácilmente y hasta tales extremos sólo porque se sentía curiosa, e imposiblemente cachonda. La base de la trama se sintió forzada desde el comienzo y eso hizo que todo lo demás se sintiera artificial cuando menos, o completamente irreal a lo peor; incluso para ser erótica oscura. Esta es mi segunda incursión en el género y muy fuera de mi zona de confort, así que por favor no tomen nada de lo que digo muy seriamente. Mucha gente parece haberle gustado así que supongo que es buena, para ser lo que es. Jacob is a recluse writer working hard to support himself and his little sister, very controlled, but with hidden desires. The Campbell stepsiblings basically want to give it to each other badly since forever but they hide their feelings because their now divorced parents were married for a short time like a hundred years ago. That’s basically the whole plot, oh yes and opening some weird old puzzle box that contains god knows what. That’s it.
So this is the deal. I got a bit tired of the innocent two lovey-dovey thing and just wished some good old fashioned unbound promiscuity. Was I basically looking for porn? Dunno, maybe, I’m new here. This is one of the first things that came across me and I just went for it. In retrospect, I should’ve searched a bit further and with a little more attention.
Ok, smut time. The storage room scene was deliriously hot and the absolute best of the book by far. Also really enjoyed the night at the library, which ironically didn’t involve any smut. The office and back alley scenes were good. After that it pretty much all went downhill. Many more smutty scenes followed, and the grand majority eye-rolling ones. By the end I just wished everything to finish. This has smut all over the place enough to satisfy anyone’s hunger; yet now I realize this was not exactly what I was looking for. I was not deeply invested with the characters at all, and the plot felt very very bland.
Is it too much to ask for exciting erotica with likable characters and a somewhat engaging plot? Dunno the answer yet, but certainly gonna keep looking. I know there has to be a 5 star erotica out there, and I’m set on finding it. Wish me luck.

Los hermanastros Campbell básicamente quieren darse fuerte desde siempre pero ocultan sus sentimientos porque sus ahora divorciados padres estuvieron casados por un corto tiempo hace como cien años. Esa es básicamente toda la trama, ah sí y abrir una rara vieja caja de rompecabezas que contiene dios sabe qué. Es todo.
Este es el asunto. Me cansé un poco de todo el inocente amorcito de dos palomitos y simplemente deseaba algo de buena y anticuada desenfrenada promiscuidad. ¿Estaba buscando básicamente porno? No sé, tal vez, soy nuevo acá. Esta es una de las primeras cosas que se me cruzaron en el camino y simplemente salté directo. En retrospectiva, debería haber buscado un poco más y prestando algo más de atención.
Ok, hora del smut. La escena de la habitación de almacenamiento fue delirantemente caliente y absolutamente lo mejor del libro por lejos. También disfruté mucho la noche en la biblioteca, que irónicamente no contiene nada de smut. La escena de la oficina y el callejón también estuvieron bien. Después de eso como que todo se vino para abajo. Muchas más escenas cachondas siguieron, y la gran mayoría para rodar los ojos. Para el final sólo deseaba que todo terminara. Esto tiene smut por todas partes suficientemente para satisfacer el hambre de cualquiera; pero ahora me doy cuenta que esto no era exactamente lo que yo estaba buscando. No estaba profundamente interesado en los personajes para nada, y la trama se sintió muy muy sosa.
¿Es mucho pedir erótica excitante con personajes queribles y un poco de trama atrapante? No sé la respuesta aún, pero ciertamente voy a seguir buscando. Se que debe haber alguna erótica de 5 estrellas por ahí afuera, y estoy determinado a encontrarla. ¡Deséenme suerte!
