LYNSAY SANDS is the nationally bestselling author who is known for her hysterical historicals as well as the popular Argeneau/Rogue Hunter vampire series. With her witty and charming personality, Sands describes books as, “Waking dreams or stories, tales to amuse, entertain and distract us from everyday life.” She’s been writing stories since grade school and considers herself incredibly lucky to be able to make a career out of it. Her hope is that readers can get away from their everyday stress through her stories, and if there are occasional uncontrollable fits of laughter, that’s just a big bonus. I like the Argeneaus a lot, they've become family, and my writing about different couples each time makes it easier and more fun than I suspect following one character or a couple through several books would be. I think that would be onerous, but this way, it's always a new book but with the background of the immortal world.(less)

Janice Thanks much. Retirement is strange, I've just started using my independent living's in-house computer, and the internet crawls. Mom's okay. Have a great day.

Well, congratulations Janice and happy retirement!

I'm sure your mom appreciates the sacrifice you're making for her in retiring early. Though it will be hard work at times, I hope you get some quality time with her as well.

Happy reading Janice and thank you for the note.

Take care,
Lynsay

Janice I just got back to work on Nov 20th, after my emergency surgery on Oct 2th, and have been quite busy catching us-- had to have 3 units of blood, 2 of which, during the surgery...oh boy. For the 1st time in about 2 months, I went back to the Barnes & Noble where I'd special ordered the original order of 2 hardback copies of Vampires Like It Hot, and....now...I have four. They were on the regular Romance shelf "waiting" for me to return to the store, and claim them. Merry Christmas.

Janice I'm sure it will be more winter, as I've never really believed that hedgehogs or groundhogs could really predicted how long the winter will be, or that woolyworms/ woollybears could really predict how severe winter might be, or the amount of snow we might get, but... it is fun to hear about it. Have a great day, and enjoy the pretty snow, whenever you get it. Have a great day.

Lynsay Sands Hi Janice,

Unfortunately, both our local groundhogs gave us winter too but I guess the local skinny pig, Princess Sandy, predicted an early spring. According to Environment Canada Princess Sandy has it wrong. LOL
