iQOO 13: 2K LTPO BOE X AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, IP68 ratings expected

iQOO 13 series, successor to last year’s iQOO 12 series, is expected to be introduced later this year, and the details of the phone has surfaced, thanks to leaker Digital Chat Station.

The iQOO 13 is said to use a large flat screen from BOE. The screen is said to use BOE X-substrate, retain 2K resolution, and support LTPO variable refresh rate. It is not clear if this will retain 144Hz or get a 165Hz refresh rate.

We can expect a Snapdragon 8 Gen4 SoC, and it is expected to pack an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a metal middle frame, glass body, and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.

In terms of appearance, the leaker said that iOQO 13 will retain some classic designs, so it should be most likely be fine-tuned based on the iQOO 12. The phone is expected to pack 6000mAh+ battery, bigger than the 5000mAh battery in the predecessor. However, the iQOO 13 is not expected to support wireless charging.

The iQOO 13 is expected to be introduced sometime in November, after the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 goes official in late October.
