HUAWEI Freelace wireless water-resistant earphones with built-in USB Type-C plug, up to 18 hours playback announced


HUAWEI just announced Freelace, the company’s latest wireless earphones along with the P30 series in Paris. It has Built-in USB Type-C plug with the company’s own HUAWEI HiPair technology that lets you charge when you plug into the phone and also pair it by the same way. It has 9.2 mm dynamic driver unit.

The 120mAh 3C high-efficiency lithium battery offers quick charge offering 4 hours of playback with just 5 minute of charge and up to 18 hours of playback on a single charge. The earphones are wrapped in nickel-titanium alloy and liquid silicon, can be easily coiled up for compact portability and remains tangle-free.

It has a built-in Hall magnetic sensor that can detect whether the headphones are in use. You can attach to end the connection for disconnecting it, and when you separate, it will reconnect. It uses Bluetooth 5.0, features Dual-channel Wind Noise Reduction and Bluetooth noise cancelling algorithm. It has IPX5 ratings for water resistance.

The HUAWEI Freelace earphones come in Graphite black, Amber Sunrise, Emerald Green and Moonlight Silver colors, is priced at 99 Euros (US$ 111 / Rs. 7,700 approx.) and will be available in select countries starting April 1.
