Vouga River - S.Pedro do Sul City

The land between rivers Lek and Merwede is a fantastic area to discover by foot, bike, boat, skate or boat. The Alblasserwaard polders are filled with windmills in a characteristic Dutch landscape which reminds us to the fact that this land is below sea-level

In the Alblasserwaard polders there are many trails by foot, skate or bike. Many interesting places can be visited like pittoresque Nieuwpoort, local history museum 'de Koperen Knop', the many cheesefarms and offcourse the world famous Kinderdijk windmills.

The Thames waters slowed down with a Lee Big Stopper.

The Millennium Footbridge over, is a steel suspension bridge for pedestrians crossing the River Thames in London, linking Bankside with the City of London.

St Paul's is the landmark in the centre (just in case there's someone who didn't know).

The beautiful teal/green glacial waters of this special river are striking.

"The Flathead River, in the northwestern part of Montana, originates in the Rocky Mountains near Glacier National Park and flows southwest into Flathead Lake, then after a journey of 158 miles (254 km), empties into the Clark Fork river. The river is part of the Columbia River drainage basin, as the Clark Fork is a tributary of the Pend Oreille River, a Columbia River tributary."

Leland, Michigan on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan, is home to "Fishtown", an historic fishing village, one of the last on the Great Lakes.

This scene shows the Leland River (historically called "The Carp River"), which connects Lake Michigan and Lake Leelanau.

The upper falls of the White River Falls. The State Park is near highway 216.
