An interior Stellar's Jay (Cyanocitta stelleri) down for a visit to the lower mainland.
Our local Stellar's don't have the pronounced eyebrows and the white beard.
This morning we had 6 Steller's in the yard at once. A couple of these interiors and our regular Jays along with a couple of Fledges.
Standing in the centre of its own enclosure and bordered by a moat, the massed rectangular dwelling, covered with a pavilion roof, the castle of Martainville was built in 1485. The great originality lies in its absolutely symmetrical plan. The castle has been listed as a historic monument since 1889. Since 1961 it has housed the Museum of Norman Traditions and Arts
Very pleasant and atmospheric interior space at 4 Stable Street, Granary Square, London. Part of the redevelopment of the area a few years back. I loved the late autumn afternoon light flooding the space, augmented by the interior lighting set on the old brick walls. It was one of those places you walk into, look around, and think to yourself - now this is kind of nice. Mind you, this was probably because it was freezing cold outside but never mind.

This is the interior of the cabin posted yesterday. The shot was taken through a window. When we were last here a couple years ago, the bed springs were in the bedroom and the chair was propped in the corner. Not sure why the furniture was moved around and given the rat droppings I was not about to go inside to investigate further!
