Sporty and elegant plug-in hybrid: the Audi Q5 Sportback TFSI e quattro

Audi is expanding its selection of plug-in hybrid models by launching sales of the Q5 Sportback TFSI e quattro on European markets. The elegant SUV coupé is rolling off the assembly line in two output levels: The Q5 Sportback 50 TFSI e quattro delivers 220 kW (279 PS) of performance, the Q5 Sportback 55 TFSI e quattro delivers 270 kW (367 PS). On both models, the lithium-ion battery can store 14.4 kWh of net power – enough for an electric range of up to 61 kilometers (37.9 mi) according to the WLTP (71 kilometers (44.1 mi) under the NEDC). The sister model, Audi Q5 TFSI e quattro, which has already been on the market since 2019, is now being equipped with the even more powerful battery.

More powerful battery, longer range: upgrade for the Audi plug-in hybrids Q5, A6, and A7

Upgrade for the Audi plug-in hybrids Q5, A6, and A7 Sportback: The TFSI e models now come with even greater battery capacity. The lithium-ion battery now delivers 14.4 kWh net (17.9 kWh gross) and allows an increased electric range of up to 91 kilometers, measured in accordance with the NEDC cycle (73 km according to the WLTP). The A6 Avant is now also available as a 50 TFSI e quattro. Its price in Germany starts at EUR 61,790.

The Audi Q5 55 TFSI e quattro with 270 kW (367 hp) system output (combined fuel consumption: 2.4 – 2.1 l/100 km*; combined CO₂ emissions: 53 – 46 g/km*) is the first of the new plug-in models from Audi. The drive concept comprises a combustion engine and an electric motor with intelligent controller, enabling it to cover most everyday driving distances electrically. The WLTP all-electric range is more than 40 kilometers (25.9 mi). With the E license plate under the German Electric Mobility Act, owners also enjoy tax advantages and municipal traffic privileges.

First SUV with a long wheelbase from the four rings: Audi Q5L at the Beijing Motor Show
