Easy to use and good value for the money. If you only need 1080p this is the one. Otherwise go for 4K version.

Bought it primarily for bluetooth audio with my bt (5.0) headphones. I couldn't control volume on my old 4K chromecast and it doesn't have bt connectivity. This one works like a charm. Connected Airpod Pro and Beats Studio without problems. No need for cables and you'll have control over the volume.

I use an old widescreen monitor. So 1080p is my goto. The scaling option is great since you can make subtitles fit by scaling the screen down. When the subtitles are cut off by a computer monitor and are not positioned correctly. When watching wide screen content the subs are cut off on my the monitor. Scale down in Firestick and the overall image can get smaller till the subs are entirely visible. Great feature if you need it.

First startup run of the stick will get you in serveral updates. Takes some time. Maybe an hour max. After that you're set and ready to go.

May feel a tiny bit laggy at first. But after a run and when all content is cached it will run a lot smoother. If you think this is an issue for you then maybe go for the 4K version. It really isn't that bad, depending on your WIFI connection. The experience isn't irritating to me. You will see a some tiny lag at times. Maybe half a second or a second max. Certain pages and content. But that's the extreme. Overall the experience is normal and quite fast and responsive. Really not bad for the age of this stick. Again. If you think you will be bothered by this. Go for the 4K version. But really. I don't need it since my screens are only 1080p or widescreen at best. Not 4K.

Alexa is great. Voice commands are fast en responsive. Easy searching in Prime Video. Just by speaking the title.

Download the Fire TV app for additional remote on phone or tablet. Seems like respons is a tiny bit faster than using the remote. But is neglegible.

Overall experience is good. I have the chromecast 4K (old ethernet version) for ages. The FireStick gives me bluetooth sound over headphones. Works great and is the main reason why i bought this stick. No need for ARC channel. Works with standard HDMI port. The sound of the HDMI will be muted though if you connect a bluetooth speaker/headphones. It's either sound, not both. Also has a detailed enough AV sync correction option to adjust sound vs. video synchronization.

At a discount this stick is a great bargain. It however seems to only have Miracast (screen mirroring) and no Chromecast like casting ability. That's the only thing to keep in mind.
