Received defective product and amazon refused to take it back. So, I tried to contact the service center but they sent me the same watch and they even opened the watch which makes it 0% waterproof. here's the full story.
I purchased the Amazfit T-Rex 2 watch with high hopes, drawn in by its advertised durability and impressive features. However, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my concerns to alert potential buyers about my ordeal with Amazfit's product and service.
I bought this watch on December 13, 2023, enticed by claims of withstanding extreme conditions like -40 degrees Celsius to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, shock resistance, dust resistance, and a 10 ATM waterproof rating. Unfortunately, the reality has been a far cry from these assurances.
Right out of the box, the heart rate and blood oxygen sensors were dysfunctional. Furthermore, the display frequently blacked out, and the buttons became unresponsive, rendering the watch practically unusable. I promptly reported these issues via email and WhatsApp on December 17, 2023.
Amazfit requested that I return the watch for servicing, which I did on December 25, 2023. However, upon receiving it back on January 10, 2024, I was dismayed to find evident scratches on the back screws, indicating the watch had been opened and serviced. Disappointingly, the problems persisted—the buttons still malfunction, and the display continues to blackout intermittently.
I am deeply dissatisfied with both the watch's performance and Amazfit's service. As a consumer who invested hard-earned money in this purchase, I expected a reliable product that lived up to its promised features. Instead, I encountered poor quality and unfulfilled assurances.
I caution potential buyers to reconsider purchasing this product due to its unreliability and the lack of satisfactory resolution from Amazfit's customer service. My experience has left me disheartened and wary of trusting their claims and products in the future.
