I waited until I had this for a month. Couldn't be happier with it. I took it out of the box and set it up in 3 minutes. There is a hose to pull out the hot air. You twist one end into the exhaust, snap that into the window slat attachment. Open the window, place the slat in and close the windo to hold it in place. Twist the other end of the hose into the attachment for the machine, snap that into the air conditioner. Turn on and in about 3 minutes, there is frosty air pouring out. No tools needed. It took me longer to write this than it did to get the machine out of the box and working. I only wanted it to cool one corner of a large room that had no central vents and was surrounded by windows. But it cools the whole room. Very pleased.
