They lasted for about a year or so, but where used every single day of that time. If you do not use them to often these are perfect paint pens for you. The gold paint takes a while to dry and lasted the longest out of all of them.
They can draw on almost any surface. We used them on squishies and cardboard and they did an awesome job. In all they worked really well.
