Tried and returned a tempurpedic topper from Home Depot. Paid $405 for it on sale. Read reviews for this topper and decided it would be worth trying especially since it is $100 cheaper. I bought the
subrtex 3 Inch Mattress Topper Cover to go with it since it doesn't have a cover. I'm glad I got a cover bc it doesn't have some like bits of dark flecks that I was able to brush off the surface, as if there are specks of something mixed in and some are lying on the surface. Not sure what it is but I figure in the cover, it's all contained. I didn't want the foam to get ripped or stained. This cover and topper combo works really well. I got the topper to put on top of a purple brand mattress which was feeling too firm. I really like this topper. It's kind of dense feeling, not as fluffy as the tempurpedic maybe. I don't know, it's just different, hard to describe. It's a keeper.
