I'm a fan of BALEAF clothing, and I think this is a good quality cooling cover up.I didn't give it a perfect rating because I think the sizing chart is a little off.I ordered an XL based on the seller's chart (and also from my past experience with BALEAF tops), but that size is too large on me. I'm not getting the semi-fitted look shown in the seller's photos. For that fit, I should have ordered one size down - a Large instead.However, if you're on the high end of the bust measurement range on the chart - you may not be able to size down, since it has buttons instead of a zipper. You might get a gap in the buttons if the bust is too tight.That being said, the quality of the top is great - exactly what I expect from this brand.The material is thin but not see-through.It's lightweight, cooling and very breathable.It's going to work very well as a swimsuit cover up.

I use this for light jacket running to the beach. It's long. Not see thru. Pockets. Wish it had a double zip. It is worth the money and I do use it too. Looks great over my leggings or active wear pant.

This cover up is lightweight but it offers good sun protection. It fits like a hoodie but it buttons rather than having a zipper. It is cut nicely so it fits better than a hoodie. While it is marketed as a swim suit cover, this is great for any time that you want sun protection - like gardening, walking the dog, etc. Since it is cut like a jacket, as a cover up, it is short and does not cover past your hips. I like a little more cover in my coverup, but I like this for other activites.

This is a review of BALEAF Women's UPF 50+ Beach Cover Up Long Sleeve Swim Coverup Quick Dry Hooded Beach Dress with Pockets (Large, blue)
This fabric feels so nice, and I don’t usually say that about polyester. I like having the hood and pockets. On the size chart, I was between sizes so I ordered up, thinking that if I were in the sun and therefore hot, I wouldn’t want it to be too tight. The medium probably would have been large enough, but the drape of this fabric is so nice that I’m happy with it being larger than I expected.
Here are some measurements that might help you — but note that these are approximate (especially width measurements) because the fabric is so liquid and stretches horizontally . . . . Note that I did not measure the ‘waist’ since it is hard to know exactly where the waist is on this type of garment. These are measurements of the garment itself.

Center back length, neck seam to bottom: 30 1/2”

Center front length: 27 1/4”
Yoke, back: 17 1/2” across

sleeve length: 27 3/4”

Half chest (back), measured at bottom of armhole: 27 1/2”

Half chest (front), measure at bottom of armhole: 25”
Full chest/bust, measured at bottom of armhole and with pleat opened up: 52 1/2”


The lovely look of this item is marred by the overstitching of the pockets. The stitching ripples the fabric—perhaps the stitching is too tight? Anyway, rather than having a smooth look in front (as the listing photos show), the curved line of the pocket looks rumpled. That makes the bottom front on each side look rumpled, which makes this otherwise lovely garment appear rather cheap. Tugging the seams didn’t help. Ironing helped some, but there are still unsightly puckers. Other than that, it's a great jacket.
