UPDATE: Buy it! I just spilled the very milky part of a milkshake on top of my mattress. Several minutes went by as I assessed possible cleaning, and don’t make fun but I sucked up as much as possible with a straw. Then I wiped with a dry micro cloth and then with a clean wet micro cloth over the area. It did not go past the top layer. Nothing on the underside of the comforter or on the sheets below. I just ordered me another one. I keep two for rotation. This way I’m in love with whichever is on my bed.I am so happy with the softness, the soft tucks (good for dog to sleep on), and then general feel of it!!
