I purchased one of these bars at a local health food store and immediatley fell in ove with it, but it was very pricey for just one. Found a whole box on Amazon for much cheaper. These are a wonderful low carb snack. If you love mint chip ice cream or thin mint cookies, these are definitely for you!

These are akin to MARS bars, and actually are much better than the current "real" candy bars I've tasted in the USA. There are whole, crunchy almonds, caramel & creamy chocolate.
Sometimes they arrived a bit squished & are messy to eat, but they're still scrumptious & by FAR the best keto/low carb protein/candy bars I've had! Love that there is NO dangerous sucralose in them, too. Highly recommended! 🙂

Great Bars, But Storage/Delivery leaves a lot to be desired

I really love the Nick's Bars and have purchased them often in all the different flavors. The chocolate almond is my favorite so I ordered a 24 count box. These are not being properly stored or transported because all 24 appear flat and when opened all the caramel has leaked out into the package. They are still tasty but very messy to eat. They taste better when the caramel has not separated from the bar. In the past, other flavors in single boxes have come in the amazon pouches and are sometimes crushed. I am sure other packages are placed on top. Also, the box has usually torn and the bars are sliding around free inside the pouch. The Nick's boxes are not sturdy enough to hold up to just being placed in a pouch. So, ordering the 24 count I thought I would be okay since they do come in a sturdier box. So, disappointed in the condition they arrived. At some point, they must have been stored or had an extreme change in temperature. I love the Nick's Bars, but Amazon or maybe even Nick's needs to do better with their packaging for shipping.

The flavor is relatively good, not amazing. FitCrunch and Pure Protein have much better tasting mint chocolate chip bars in my opinion, and they don't cause allergic reactions for me. I am not sure what ingredient(s) have been bothering me, but every time I eat this bar, 1-2 hours later I feel awful with symptoms like upset stomach, chills, and unrelenting back pain. They don't cause symptoms for my boyfriend, so I will be giving them to him instead. I eat protein bars that have sugar alcohols, high fiber, and those that are made in facilities with tree nuts/soy all the time. I am not sure what I'm allergic to with these. In any case, it's easy for me to give these up because the flavor isn't fantastic to begin with. I give it a 5.5 or 6/10 for flavor.
