The bars were just slightly smashed, not horrible, they did taste very good. However, it would have been nice to have had them packed and shipped in a box instead of an envelope. I still have one more box on the way and I just hope it was packed better. Oh, and it did not help the fact that the person who delivered them just mushed them into my mailbox. If the next box comes smashed it will be the last time I ever order these even though they are tasty. To me, when I spend that much money on something I expect it to arrive in good condition.
Update on box #2. They also were mailed in an envelope but unlike the 1st box these were not smashed into my mailbox. Just like the other bars, these are really tasty. I am a bit apprehensive about ordering more just because they are too pricey to run the risk of having them smashed again.
So, as far as taste goes, these are fabulous. But, as for how they are shipped in an envelope with the risk of being crushed again, well that is why I think I will not be ordering them again and that is too bad because these are very good, and I would have liked to try some of the other flavors as well.
