Update: One star added. Precious: Okay with some issues
Please note, I am an Amazon Vine Voice reviewer, but this is not a Vine item. I paid in full for this item for my own personal use.Update: I had posted my review about a month ago with three stars and today I’m adding a star. I’m not adding it because I’ve found a solution to anything below, but I’m adding it for their customer service. They contacted me after my review apologizing it didn’t meet my expectations. They offered me a full refund and to keep the product. Not once did they say they were doing this for an improved review. After they refunded my purchase price, they didn’t ask me to change the review. To me, that is good customer service so I decided to add a star, all on my own. However, I wish they would have came up with a solution to my issues below instead of refunding my money. I still love the concept of this screen and the purchase price.Original review:This screen came packaged well enough to prevent damage. It had no damage.This screen has good resolution and images look really good on this, even with ambient light. I’m very happy with how the image looks.The motor is working well and I like how it comes down.The wireless remote works fine.So why the 3 stars? Several reasons:1) Do not use the drywall anchors that come with this. Very cheap and almost lost the whole thing because of it. Use your own anchors.2) The screen rolls quite a bit on the sides warping your image about 8” on the side (mainly the right side for me, but some on the left.)3) Probably my biggest issue: see the image. What in earth were they thinking with this stupid manual screen control? Notice how I have it sideways? It is supposed to be pointed where both wires come out of the top? What the heck is that about? This is a thick electrical wire and who has outlets six feet up their wall in a home? Makes no sense! I have no idea how I’m going to mount the box. Also, the cord is about two feet too short if you have a standard outlet. This is so frustrating! Makes absolutely no sense! Also, why is the power cord so thick? Look at how terrible this thing looks (see picture).4). Directions seem to be written with an old version of Google translate. Terrible.5) The limiter is in about the worst place possible. If you want it to automatically stop at a certain spot, you need to adjust this. But you can’t if you have mounted it. Another terrible idea.Overall, this is an inexpensive screen which could’ve been a huge winner, but they made some terrible decisions with it. I still have two weeks left under the 30 day return policy, and I’m not sure if I’ll keep. I’m going to try heating the sides to see if I can remove the curl. Wish I had a solution for the stupid manual control box.I hope this review was helpful.
