    Overall, this TV has an excellent picture. It was a bit frustrating for us when it came to hooking everything up as the plug -ins were somewhat inconveniently placed (for us). Mounting wasn't difficult thanks to the Dish tech who helped my husband lift it onto the bracket. (We were able to reuse the one from our previous 55" TV) If you've never had a Fire TV before it takes some getting used to. First, you enter your Amazon account info. After that every app (Starz, Tubi, Dish Anywhere etc). has to be downloaded separately so plan to spend some time on the set up. The remote is nothing more than a Fire TV remote: we bought a second one just so each of us has their own. (And that's how you stay happily married 50 yrs! LOL ;)

    The TV is literally plug (in) & play.

    Our BIGGEST complaint is the poor volume. Once mounted we found until we'd cranked the volume to 60+ we couldn't understand a single word. (While my husband's a bit hard of hearing, my hearing's exceptional, so I know it's the TV! ) We added an Amazon sound bar but, unfortunately the TV overrides the remote for the sound bar so nothing changed except we can put the sound bar right behind us. There's absolutely no way to adjust the volume for treble, bass etc. as it keeps defaulting to 'auto' despite multiple attempts to get around this. I think it's going to need a serious sound system ($$$) to get the theater sound we're used to. Our previous TV was a Samsung with a Polk sound bar & that was definitely superior!

    All in all, considering the price it's a darned good value. (We did invest in the extended warranty, too.)

    The Toshiba model, which I believe is OEM LG, is literally a blank slate. Plug in it, followed directions, and a set up screen never showed up. Spent time trying to troubleshoot it, first from the set-up troubleshoot list, then YouTube research, but I never got any screen image, never mind set-up menu. Went to Toshiba site and followed instructions there to register the product, but that site was a dead end, without pull down selections for product and model number, although I could enter my contact information. I couldn't enter a receipt image, mainly because I bought it online through Amazon, and I suppose that I could have done a screen shot of the Amazon invoice, but, really? At any rate, registration was a COMPLETE bust. The TV is a complete bust. No buttons on the machine at all, including an on/off, but all through the remote, and the set up information doesn't even tell you in any confident way how to tell if the machine is on. This is truly a piece of crap design, the registration site is a crap design, and now I have to pack the crap back up and send it back.

    Maybe it is defective item, that happens, but the obtuse information online and in the included set-up guide is just awful, and I'm pretty sure there isn't a defect in the text and printing. This product is an example of the designed-in optionlessness for a customer troubleshooting , both from the lack of clear information and from the lack of clarity. STAY AWAY from this example of corrupt consumerist crap.

    I mean 238 dollars?? 2023 model , 4K resolution, and it has fire TV already loaded up which is a $30 value by itself. And the sound quality is amazing! I can't tell you how long it will last at this point, but I can tell you that I'm very impressed at how easy it was to set up and the initial quality!
